I had service done by John back in 2009 on my black Chrysler 300C. This was when he was at his old location, which I agree with another reviewer it wasn't the best part of town. It was actually hard to find and had to call him to get directions as my GPS kept me going in loops. Finally found it and I was still early for my appointment. \r
\r
I was the first appointment of the day however when I got there, an early bird'er was there waiting. Unfortunately me being first in line even by an appointment that was done a week in advance held no priority. Also, this was when he was the only installer. He had a girl, can't recall her name, who was the shop manager. I assume she was responsible for stock, answering phone calls, checking people out, etc. John told me that she was going to be his apprentice for tinting but not sure where she is now. I digress. . . \r
\r
My appointment was for 9AM, I left the place at 3PM. Yes, I was there FOREVER! However, it was worth it. When he was finished my car looked amazing! The tint I picked was a Silver Tint that was NOT legal. I forget the percentage but you couldn't see in from the outside. It was like looking into a mirror, you could shave your face by looking at the window. I could not thank him enough for his crafty work. \r
\r
Regarding his work, he did take his time and educated me on the percentage of the tint. He also warned me, prior to putting the tint on, that this was illegal and I would be fully responsible for the outcome. Needless to say, I didn't care.\r
\r
Unfortunately two years ago my car was flooded and was deemed a total loss. I will tell you that since day one, and till the end, the tint held up. No bubbles, cracking, breaking nothing. Even one week after my car was flooded sitting in the hot sun saying goodbye to it in the junkyard, the tint was still on there, flawless.\r
\r
I replaced my old Chrysler 300C with an exact model and year and I have finally decided to get the same tint. I now live in Northern, VA and would not think twice about bypassing all the tint places here and between to see John again. However, I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this guy. I received an email from him indicating he was moving from his old location to a bigger location, which would indicate he was having at least some success to get out of his old location, which again, wasn't the best place.\r
\r
I'm on the fence, now, on using John again. Yes, I didn't appreciate spending almost an entire work day there while he worked on my car. But again, it was worth the wait. The amount of compliments I had on my car coupled with the enjoyment of the beauty of my car was well worth it.\r
\r
If you decide to go here, I would highly suggest you have John do the work. Again, not sure if John is still the only one doing the tint or if he has others. Also, unless things have changed and from my experience, drop your car off and do not wait. \r

Best of luck!\r
