Bad experience with Home Depot's appliance delivery contractor Bailey's Moving & Storage!!!! My new $1000 refrigerator showed up at my mountain home in the Bailey's truck, but the drivers refused to go up my driveway. Note - there was some snow, but my wife and I traverse the driveway daily with no problem...MANY truck deliveries are made to our house in winter with no problem. The Bailey drivers refused to ascend the driveway, they refused to chain up their truck, they refused to assist me in an offer to cart the fridge up the driveway using a hand truck or use my own pickup. I had them drop the fridge in the road and I, within two hours, moved it myself in a pickup with the help of a hired hand. I am currently in the hole for $200 and have an old fridge that Bailey's did not haul away, as promised. Home Depot does itself a disservice using Bailey's Moving...if you live in the foothills, don't expect a timely delivery of your appliance...and don't use Bailey's - find a company that hires mature men who don't make excuses.
