Bad Customer Service, to busy talking to fully help 5/24/2012

This Home Depot has very poor customer service. I went in to see if they sold clothes lines. I asked an associate if they carried them. I was told, ""No, we do have fence posts out back."" Then turned around and went on with their conversation. I left d anwent to Lowes. They had no problems helping and making sure all my questions were answered before moving on to what they were doing...they also carried them. When checking out the cashier even taped off the ends of the box to make sure it didn't open up as it was carried. more

Bad Customer Service! Puyallup Lowe's is Better! 1/30/2011

Bad customer service! The Puyallup Lowe's across the street is better. I purchased a plastic panel for my florescent ceiling light at Home Depot. It needed to be cut to size. It was brittle and as I cut it and it cracked and broke so I went back to buy another, and asked if it could be cut to size for me. I did not have the correct type of knife at home to cut it. I was told that they don't "do that anymore", and the guy just told me to cut it, "As if you were cutting glass". Like I cut glass every day. I left and went to Lowe's. The man over there, Steven, was very helpful, and explained how to cut the plastic panel properly using my kitchen counter and household tools. He even gave me his own box knife, which was really going above and beyond! IncidentaIly, the quality of the plastic product I bought at Lowe's seems better--less brittle. I do value customer service, and the Puyallup Home Depot does not have it! more

Bad Customer Service. Go to the Puyallup Lowe's Instead! 1/29/2011

Home Depot 9/30/2005

I've had a few different experiences at this store. Sometimes it's impossible to find help (especially during the middle of the week when they're slow, which is odd) and I leave the store very frustrated. Other times someone is there to ask me if I need help and physically walk me to what I'm looking for as soon as I walk in the door. I love Home Depot for their price and selection, but they really could work on their customer service. more

LOVE it 6/14/2005

I love this store! As a new home owner I can find whatever I need very easily..and if not, I can ask around-there is usually someone nearby to ask and they are very willing to help. The store is always clean and checkout is fast! Love it! PROS: Fast! CONS: None more

Slow Service 5/22/2005

It's hard to find someone to help you at this Home Depot. You're basically on your own while trying to fine sale items and the employees arent' that eager to help. more
