Our New Year's Eve stay last week was a complete disaster. The hotel booked a private party of 1,000 classless 20-somethings who were walking around the lobby with king cans of Budweiser. The women were drunk at 9 p.m. and wore clothing usually found on streetwalkers on Colfax. For the cost of a room, we were absolutely stunned that the management would allow such behavior, but it only got worse from there...the elevators were jammed and we needed wrist bands to go to our room. The hotel did not reserve us a room away from the din, even though my boyfriend had booked well in advance. Later that night, there was no security, no authority of any kind to monitor the all-night loudness and partying on our hallway, which was located 9 floors above the party. We finally gave up and checked out at 4 a.m. The Curtis didn't even apologize or register regret when we did so. I'll never go back, as they obviously don't value their civilized guests.
Cons: This hotel is not ready for prime time and lacks sophistication, customer service
