The Community Closet Thrift Shop

Bargains galore still! Fridays are the best as EVERYTHING is 50% off. They get a lot of donations, so every Friday is a great incentive for shoppers as it moves stuff out and new stock has room to come into. If you like hunting for the bargains this place blows away any other thrift store in the area. People are friendly here and just a great place to brows. When you are done shopping head down to the Sacred Grounds Coffee shop downstairs. They have coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, baked goods for very good prices compared to the big name/big brand places. And they are all delicious! Also Fridays are either free soup or sandwich (depending on the season). So shop for some great bargains, then relax with a delicious drink and on Fridays, a free meal! more

The Community Closet Thrift Shop is a little gem tucked away in Benton's former Elementary School. You can find all sorts of "treasures" here for such dirt cheap prices!! Of course they have clothes. Then there are books, videos, suitcases, vases, household items, kitchen stuff, some small and large appliances, knick knacks and as they get it, some furniture. The stock is ever changing. Some days I go in and spend quite a bit. Others, I walk out without spending a dime. The thrill is in the hunt...and finally the find!!! Also a few time throughout the year, they will have a Bag Sale, where you can fill a bag and pay one set price, so stuff it!!! more
