Editorial review from Citysearch 4/16/2014

Incidents of harassment\r \r \r September – October 2010: During my Medical Office Supervision Class AH240, an “unidentified” student went to Ms. Busch and reported to her that I was on a sexually offensive website. Ms. Busch, Maggie (Student Services) and I had a one-on-one meeting. During the meeting Ms. Busch stated that if I had accessed an offensive website recently & if she pulled a computer log and found one website that violated school policy I would be “terminated” from school. \r \r I wanted the log pulled, Maggie wanted the log pulled, but Ms. Busch didn’t want to, she just wanted me removed from school without even looking at what I might have accessed, or accidently accessed. Maggie challenged Ms. Busch and stated pull the log, if anything offensive is on the log she would take the blame. Maggie wanted to see what I was accused of. Ms. Busch at that point wanted the issue dropped. Maggie pulled my computer log (on her own merit) and found nothing offensive. After this incident I rarely used the school computers for any type of work, most of my school work after this incident was done from home. \r \r November 2011- Fellow student William (last name withheld.) (Graduated 2012) came outside (smoke area) one morning and wanted to know if I had a problem with him in the class (Laboratory/Clinical Procedures). Three other students were outside when William came up to me wanting to fight and argue. I left the smoke area headed back to the MA class room (Not saying a word as I walked away). At which point William followed me through the smoke area, down a hallway and back into class yelling and threatening me. Ms. Brandy was in the MA class room, and didn’t do anything or say anything. She just looked away.\r \r A day or two later I was called into Ms. Busch’s office, where the whole thing was reversed and I came off as the one who started the incident with William. When I gave my side, and also mentioned Ms. Brandy was in the room, the incident again was dropped and nothing further was done. Up until the day the class ended 11/18/2011, I still had to put up with slight handed remarks, including William telling other students not to do blood draws with me.\r \r I graduated February 2012. Did my externship and then never worked again. In the years following my graduation from ""Bryman"" they haven't help me land a job, nor have I found a job in the medical field. \r more

Avoid 3/13/2008

Though some teachers are wonderful I've found that as a current student many things are lacking. Provocative dress by administration in a medical aimed school, shuffling students around to varying offices (admissions to campus president to --- and --- and so on. Graduate placement scrambles and often forgets about promises made to students about finding out information: never to get back to them. Degrees are not offered to new students as old ones are being grandfathered out without that phrase being used by the staff. There's no information about said accred. except rumors and overall it's a frustrated student body with many transferring, dropping out, or changing to a certificate; possibly not what they moved thousands of miles for. Overall, I regret my attendance here with exception for meeting a few good people in a large sea of things far from good standard. Pros: Classes are there;frequent bbqs, and other floof. Cons: Courses change, less than admirable staff more
