This is a smaller pub, just my style. The service was nice and overall, I loved my meal today! I have had ruben sandwiches all over the place but today, my sandwich just really topped them all! Well, the Irish beer and awesome chips went down well also! They had one large flat screen tv which was silent and on closed caption. I wish they would have had some jazz or fun music playing in the background but other than that we loved the place! Our total bill with tip for the two of us was $32.00. I will be back, I hope soon! more

Went to this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon. The service was very good and friendly. I had the club sandwich which was amazing.. it had home cooked turkey and ham on it with homemade chipotle sauce. My boyfriend had a burger stuffed with blue cheese and he also said it was one of the best he has had. We could tell that this restaurant works hard on making their customers happy and satisfied by their service. Everything tasted so fresh even down to the side of ranch I asked for. It's really apparent that the people running this restaurant take pride in what they have going on more

Love the Brickhouse. Excellent strawberry and spinach salad. Asked the waiter for additional dressing on the side and it made the meal that much better. Large chunks of chicken and generous cheese. My husband had the thai wraps and he actually licked his fingers. Our friend had the stroganoff and loved it. The food had rich flavor. One night we went, the air conditioner fan was blowing the kitchen smoke into the eating area. It hurt my eyes after awhile, but it is not taking a star away from my rating. Great atmosphere and there was a great band playing on their patio. Clean bathrooms. Attentive staff who made wonderful recommendations. 5 stars for tasty food. more

I'm a big fan. One of Red Wing's best dining options if you're looking for something higher-quality than the Applebee's. Brickhouse's food, their wine list, their service has impressed me the 3-4 times we've been in. We even walked in late & they gave us the best food & service & waited patiently for us to finish. The burgers are big & delish (Inferno is my favorite!) and the Bruchetta appetizer is actually is HUGE platter of tender buffalo mozzerella & tomatoes with 6 sauces, fresh basil leaves, soft roasted head of garlic to spread on the perfectly toasted crostini bread pieces. A build-your-own bruchetta platter! BRILLIANT!!! And goes down so well with a Malbec. Service was attentive but not pushy. I hate it when servers interrupt a conversation for no reason. Good ambiance, I'm very glad they have a separate lounge for the drinkers & I don't have to deal with the crowd when I'm eating. more

My sister and sister-in-law all voted...best pizza and bloody marys ever! Very happy with the service! We are from Eau Claire and Mondovi WI and are definitely planning on coming back to Red Wing to eat and drink here! more

We live in Red Wing and often go to the Brickhouse. They make an awesome Bloody Mary (but today it was a virgin), and lunch was wonderful. My wife had a wrap, and I had the fish on a hoagie. Their chili has won local chili contests, soup is good, and I can't recall a bad meal there. more

Local crowd having a good time during the off season, mix of both when the tourists are in town. Small place, often full. Worth the wait I'd say. The ""Big Disaster"" nachos are a favorite. more

I've eaten here twice and the food is absolutely delicious. The strawberry and goat cheese salad is one of the best salads I have EVER had. The service can be a little slow but it's worth the wait. The drinks are good too! Love the atmosphere. It is pricey though. more

There is inside and outside seating at the Brickhouse. We had the cranberry walnut bread, turkey, tomato, sandwich. It comes with a cranberry cream cheese spread and also chips. We had it one night and went back the second night for the same sandwich. more

We met here for a meal after a full day of Golf at Mississippi National Golf course and shopping in Pepin. What a nice cool spot to have a martini (many choices) and food. The Brickhouse Steak Sandwich was generous and tasty. Try the sweet potato Puffs- they are scrumptous with their sweet sauce. Good job, Brickhouse Pub! more

Red Wing is not blessed with many fine restaurants, but The Brickhouse is a very pleasant Pub & Grill with a nice vibe. We have visited the pub a number of years ago when it was under different management, and thought we would try it again. Our server was very cordial (an owner I believe) and we felt very welcomed. My wife and I both enjoy a good salad and were very impressed when our salad arrived...to see that it contained red cabbage, romaine and iceberg lettuce, onions and other ingredients. I ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and my wife ordered the chicken marsala. The wine was served in appropriate stemware and was a decent pour. Both entrees were delicious and generous portions. Sorry to see the other reviews that did not have the same experience we did.. but as for us...it was a very pleasant experience and we will return more

I don't know why people are complaining about this place. I thought it was pretty dang good and the menu has a ton a variety! There was a 10 minute wait but was well worth it. We sat at the bar and waited for our table to be cleaned. The bartender was nice and didn't hesitate to strike up conversation as we waited. Once we got to our table the server helped me make a decision on what to order. more
