The Bluffs at Highlands Ranch Apartments

This is the first time I am writing any review about anything, but people really should be warned about this place. I was not surprised at all to see all of the negative reviews below. The Bluffs are overpriced apartments made extremely cheaply. The management company will show you a really nice apartment which is far from what you will get. The office people at first are really nice, but as soon as you sign the lease, they are extremely unhelpful and almost rude (especially Barbara). The real apartments look nice, but nothing works. Utility bills are outrageous because the buildings and appliances are extremely inefficient. There are unbelievable fees (trash removal etc...) that of course, they don't really tell you about beforehand, that keep increasing every month (i.e. for $25-$30/month I'll walk my own trash to Denver!). I could have saved so much money by moving into a different place. Trust me on this one, the large bathtub is NOT worth it! The Bluffs at HR is a RIP OFF. Renters BEWARE!!!! The Bluffs at 600 W. County Line Road is a RIP OFF. They just made a friend pay 3 months rent for an apartment that she never moved into. We were shown this gorgeous model thinking all their units were upgraded, but we were wrong. No inspection of the actual unit occured. When she got the keys we smelled a strong odor of gas when we opened the front door, 25 burn marks in the carpet, live roaches running across the carpet, coke stains on the walls, light fixtures missing, and the furnace filter clogged with filth and the furnace heat exchanger dirty beyond imagination.
