Worst

I don't know the name of the dish that I ordered...only thing I remember is that the vegitables tasted simply steamed and heavily coated with peanut sauce. I was disappointed. ...

Love this place! Consistent, fresh, 5/3/2012

Love this place! Consistent, fresh, fast and friendly. One of the better Thai places in town. more

Best pineapple curry 7/27/2011

Used to live in walking distance to this restaurant. Their Pineapple chicken curry is out of this world. I would be willing to drive from Scappoose to NEP for it (now that we aren't in the neighborhood anymore). YUMMY! more

Great Lunch Specials 8/18/2010

Thai Noon is delicious and if you visit during lunchtime you will get a big meal at a small price. Their food is yummy everytime, when you ask for spicy is definitely is (which i love) and they are quick. more

Great food, nice employees! 7/4/2010

The cashew veggie dish is my all time favorite. Cha Ba thai can't beat it! #24. Try it! Pros: Consistently good food Cons: None that I can think of more

Best Thai in Town Hands Down 6/19/2009

Best Thai in town! Hands down. I have ventured to find a place to top Thai Noon and always go back to whats best. You have to try it for yourself, its really good quality authentic Thai Pros: Authentic Thai, Big Portions, Cheap more

yuck 5/10/2009

The food was cold and when it finally came the waiter almost threw it at us. We were over charged and charged for dishes that we didn't order and the ""manager"" refused to refund our card. Cons: poor service more

I get sick every time 5/10/2009

I love thai food and its so nice to have several right around my house but Thai noon makes me sick every time. Several of our friends have stopped eating there for the same reason. And its dirty. broken dishes poor service I can put up with but the food is not safe. more

NO customer service - food order was wrong 3/5/2009

I ordered Thai food the week before but told the waiter that the food needed to be MILD becaue I will get sick if it has any spice whatsoever. The food arrived perfect!! It was absolutely the best that I've had in a long time. So my next day off I came in for some to go. I ordered it as before - MILD - no spices. This was a different waiter then previous so I explained and made sure he wrote down my order correctly because when I was talking to him I noticed he wasn't paying attention but just kept looking around the room. Got it home, took a bite and my mouth just about went on fire. That night the weather was cold, rainy and windy and I'm on a bicycle. I called the restaurant and asked for the Manager. It was the same guy who took my order. I explained and he asked me to bring the food back. I told him I was on a bike (which he already knew) and that I was now SICK from the food. He told me that was too bad but there was nothing he could do. I actually had to threaten to dispute the credit card charges if he didn't tear up the slip. What got me is how little he cared. He told me if I didn't like spicy I shouldn't eat Thai food. Suffice to say, I will be disputing the credit card charge even though I took the food back the following day. Pros: They can serve your order correct but they're NOT consistent Cons: Order wrong - I got sick - brought food back next day and he still wouldn't refund money more

One of the best Thai places in Portland (and there is a lot of Thai here) 12/7/2008

I have been going to Thai Noon for about 5 years now and even though I moved out of the area I continue to go. I eat a lot of Thai and this is definitely one of the top couple in a city that has tons of Thai places. I have had every dish many times and still never get tired of it. When you come here you can count on a great meal at a very reasonable price. Its one of those staple places for people who eat out a lot. Try the Catfish or the Pad Thai. The owners and staff are also very pleasant. Pros: Great Food, Low prices but not cheap ingredients, friendly staff Cons: Its a small local place, no chandaliers and cherry wood everywhere but who needs that? more

One of the best Thai Restaurants in Portland! 9/22/2008

Flavorful dishes, and not afraid of some spice -- this is not our neighborhood Thai restaurant, but worth the drive. The best Cashew Nut Chicken in town! more

Not so good anymore. 3/10/2008

We've eaten at Thai Noon in the past and enjoyed it. But recently we had take out and it was terrible. The panang curry was flavorless and watery. The spicy beans were greasy and overcooked. With so many great Thai options in town, we won't go back. more

Ok but there's better 2/25/2008

This is a cute little place, and I like the garage door being open on a sunny day, but I found the food pretty average. I think a little bit better food can be found at One Thai, just a block away from Thai Noon, in a town that has a lot of thai restaurants, there are far better alternatives. (or of course Siam Society, with really fantastic food if you're in the mood for something fancier) more

Dont believe bad reviews this is a great place 2/13/2008

I have been to this restaurant at least 15 times and have brought a number of friends along, including one Thai friend. All have agreed that food is exellent and tasty. Service is friendly, prices very reasonable. Go to this restaurant if you want good food in friendly atmosphere and low prices! Pros: food and people Cons: other uptight reviewers more

Good for a sweet-tooth. 10/29/2007

I am a lover of thai cuisine and recently moved to Portland. This is the only Thai restaurant I've been to in Portland, however, I've been a number of times. My experiences have been very mixed. Pros: Cheap if you split dishes Cons: Hit-or-miss service more

If you have food allergies....AVOID! 10/9/2007

I am only seeing reviews from 2003 until 2006 on this site. Why no recent reviews? I wouldn't Pros: Good food, if it's what you ordered Cons: Unprofessional and rude wait staff more

MY Thai! 11/19/2006

Love this place. We always bring our out-of- town guests there. Great service. Flavors are AMAZING. Love the curries, the soups, the noodles...okay, love it all. Pros: food, drinks, service Cons: parkings, limited seating more

Favorite Thai 9/24/2006

This is my favorite Thai in town. Always good and quick. My husband and I eat here once a week and can never get enough. more

Best Thai Food in Portland! 6/16/2006

This is by far the BEST thai food restaurant on Alberta - and there are several. We have been a fan of Thai Noon since it opended. The food is fresh and prepared at the time of order. The service is very friendly and makes it a point to remember you as well as your favorite dishes. Noon (the co-owner) is always pleasant and greets you with the warmest smile! We LOVE to try new restaurants but for Thai food - we are die hard ""Thai Noon"" fans that are never quite satisfied anywhere else!! more

Good food, rude waiter 5/23/2006

decent food- mostly good service, but one waiter was quite rude. He did not take our order, but brought us our food. The waiter who took our order made a mistake and wrte down the wrong number for the dish I ordered. The second waiter who brought us our food was very rude and acted like it was my fault, and then was completely ungracious and unapperciative when I offered to take the wrong dish that I hadn't ordered. He never smiled, never thanked me, charged full price for the dish, and then disappeared and never helped our table again. His behaviour was very odd, and surrounded by a friendly staff who was trying to provide us with a pleasant dining experience, it seemed even more out of place. He does not represent the restaurant well, and left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Pros: Rude Waiter Cons: good food, organic, inexpensive more

Best Tom Kah ! 4/30/2006

Their soups and Sauces are excellent and they are very prompt with the service and always friendly. (never pushy) The lunch specials are an extremly good deal. I also used them for a dinner party with take out and everything was top notch! more
