Best

Recently, I flew in to Denver from San Francisco to spend some days with my brother. As one who eats out often in the greater Denver metropolitan area, where he lives and works...

Worst

I have eaten at this resaurant several times, and the food is exceptional! But I do not like the service, the host is very rude and when I called to place an order, she seemed in ...

Awesome food - gracious service 9/5/2006

This might be the best thai food we've ever had! I only wish they were closer to us in Denver! Like another reviewer had said, the interior is kind of boring - it's a little dated. But the service is very gracious, and very prompt. It never seems to be crowded when we go, and I cant figure out why! the food is sooooo good! The Tom Yum soup is wonderful, try it. We have tried several dishes now - and liked them ALL. Our favorites are the Drunken Noodles and the Pineapple Fried Rice. The beer and wine list is pretty short, so that can be dissapointing. But if you are looking for delicious authentic thai food - you HAVE to try this place! more

Best Thai ...my favorite asian cuisine restaurant! 6/27/2006

Although it could use some more interesting decor, this place is my husband's and my favorite! This is the best Thai food we've ever had. Everything is made fresh when you order, with high quality indredients perfectly balanced and prepared. The portions are huge, so the price is reasonable once you see how much food you get. One order of chicken Pad Thai easliy feeds two people, as do most of the dishes. Everything we've tried from soups, to appetisors, to deserts has been fantastic. The banana's foster, with caramel-rum sauce is to die for! The service is very friendly, even for take out! Pros: everything on the menu! friendly service. fresh unique cuisine, large portions Cons: ambience/decor is a little dark and dull. more

Freindly Service, Reasonably priced 12/28/2005

Very freindly service, awesome restaurant. Food was quite sufficient for all of the family members. Reasonably priced. They are currently running a promotion lunch for $5.95 who can beat that.... Check this place out you won't regret. Thanks Pros: Freindly Service, Awesome Food, Reasonably Priced Cons: None, None, None more

Do NOT GO HERE!!!!! 9/12/2005

The food was acceptable, but we wondered how anyone who worked there could figure out how to put their shoes on!!! We ordered delivery. In came quickly, but the delivery driver could not understand us. We had a coupon which we told them about during our order. The order total was more than what the restaurant said (even without the coupon). We called & after about 5 minutes, had the delivery driver speak with the restaurant as they could not understand us.... Somehow, the price changed from our order to delivery. Then..... somehow... when they put in the coupon, the total bill came to MORE than without it. So... the amount changed twice... both times, increasing. Someone needs to visit Thai Flavor and bring a brain for all of them to share. Not recommended unless you LOVE being frustrated. Pros: Speedy Deliver Cons: Stupidity, Food more

I enjoyed the flavor. 3/12/2005

I've eaten at diffrent Thai resturants in Denver and this is one of the best. The dishes are filling, tasty and presented well. I will eat there again. Pros: good parking more

One of the best Thai restaurants in Denver? 2/18/2005

Can't say that I agree with the high ratings this place gets. I miss the great Thai places I ate at on the east coast. The dishes here are average, at best. The Chicken satay were bland, although the peanut sauce was good. The shrimp appetizer wrapped in fried noodles was interesting. The eggrolls were standard. They brought the entrees out just moments after the appetizers. I had a ginger stirfry of peppers, chicken and carrots, it was ho-hum. Also tried the red shrimp curry which had good flavor but was too spicy to qualify as ""medium"". I would have liked to see other choices on the menu like scallops, lobster or frog legs but the standard chicken, shrimp, pork & beef were the only choices. The dessert of warm custard served with coconut ice cream was very good. Not a bad place, but not worth a special trip. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Location more

Low End Thai 2/10/2005

If this was my first exposure to Thai, I'd run screaming. My beef salad was a few random, stringy pieces of ""beef"" imbedded in big chunks of iceberg lettuce. Granted, I asked for the least amount of spices, but what I rec'd was spice-less. My dining partner's shrimp dish was passable, but nothing stellar. The dessert of coconut ice cream on a warm custard was good. The atmosphere is standard Asian pink/burgandy, vinyl booths in a strip mall next to a brightly lit Mexican convenience store. There was a man talking heatedly on the phone and smoking multiple cigarettes when we arrived and he moved to a back booth inside where he continued his conversation. The all-in-one hostess/waitress provided decent service, continually running in and out of their swinging doors. I'd rather have drive through fast food than this glop. Don't know how it got a 9 rating. Cons: Quality of food, Icky cloudy fish tank more

Inconsistent Quality 1/5/2005

I was very excited when Thai Flavor opened up so near my home, but was quickly put off by the inconsistent quality of the food. The red curry in particular seems to vary greatly in flavor from day to day. Still, it was very conveniently located and I continued to eat there until they delivered food 2hrs late to my home. Even that didn't put me off because they called the next day to apologize & offered to treat us to a free meal for the inconvenience. However, when we showed up the owner treated us like we were trying to put one over on her & refused to honor the offer. Haven't eaten there since. more

Great Staff! Very authentic Thai cuisine. One of the best I've tried in Denver. The Three Flavor Fish (Talapia) wakes up your senses ... and taste buds. Thai custard is the perfect way to end a perfect meal. As you walk outside the restaurant, the mouth watering aromas alone will take to a far away place. One would almost say the charming decor was from a pink palace. I wish there was one in Lo-Do. Pros: , Intimate Cons: , location more

Great Place 8/7/2003

This place has an amazingly friendly staff. The menu items can be special ordered for dietary restrictions. The food is great and the tofu is prepared very well (often poorly prepared in other restaurants). Pros: Friendly Staff, Versitile Kitchen, Great Food more

hard to find, but worth it 8/1/2003

Just like any treasure, it's hard to find, but it's well worth it once you do. This place serves the best food and has the friendliest staff you'll find anywhere. It's relatively new and unknown so you'll find it nice for quiet conversations. If you like Thai food, you'll love this place. Find it and find out for yourself. Pros: great food, great service, quiet Cons: hard to find more
