Hands down best hair stylist in the Triad 12/12/2011

Nydia is one of the best hair stylists in the triangle no questions asked, she is THE BEST. I have been to many salons hoping that I would be able to find someone to cut my hair but, I was disappointed time and time again. My hair is extremely difficult to cut because of how coarse and straight it is and not ONE stylist could cut my hair the way I liked it. Nydia exceeded my expectations and more. She blended my hair evenly and even styled my hair to my liking. She is the only person I trust with my hair and I have never been disappointed with my haircut from her. more

Nydia Torres is a hair artist 10/7/2011

I have had Nydia cut and color my hair for many years. I even moved away at one point and would come back to town just so I could have her do my hair. She is the best stylist I've ever worked with. I trust her completely. She has given me short hair cuts, long cuts with layers, highlights, all over color. We've been through many hairstyles together and I've loved them all. She is truly an artist who knows what will look good and how to execute it. more

Great Person and Great Hair Stylist 7/28/2011

Nydia has been doing my hair for years and I always like what she does. I have stayed with her even though she moved, I will continue going to her no matter where she works. She has recommended changes to my hair style over the years that I always love. She is really good at looking a somone and knowing what hair style would look good on them. She's very good at what she does and she is a very sweet person. more

Nydia at Textures Hair Salon 7/26/2011

I am new to the area and chose Naydia because of her wonderful reviews on City Search. They are all true. I have thin hair and went there looking droopy and dull. Naydia gave me a fabulous cut which I am sure i can handle myself. She is friendly and yet professional. The experience at Textures is personal and relaxing. I will definitely return. more

How Wonderful !! 7/22/2011

Now that I have had the salon experience with Nydia, I don't think I will ever be able to go anywhere else. Typically I have to go into detail with what I want my new style to be. With just a few guidelines given, she knew exactly what I wanted. I have recieved so many comments, ohs and ahhs over my new look. I feel younger and the look compliments my fun and funky style. What a relaxing and soothing time spent at Textures. I would recommend Nydia to my friends and family. Anyone for that matter. Thanks so much Nydia for a great time, I'll be back soon ! Hands of an angel. 7/15/2011

The most relaxing and soothing experience while getting my hair cut. Nydia hands felt like an angel touching my scalo. I felt so much confront and trust, I did not look in the mirror untill the end, the outcome was nothing what I was specting the beautiful and artistic cemetrical style really compliment the look I was going for, I am very happy and pleased with her work.. I would blindly trust her with my hair and my loves ones as well. more

Nadia - Professional, artistic and competent stylist 3/24/2011

She is a good listener and understands the needs of her customers and makes great recommendations. I had been to other fancy places in the area just to pay a ton of money and return disappointed. She knew exactly what I needed when I went to her first time and now she is the only one I would go to. I have a very wavy and curly hair which not a lot of people knew how to style. She is so good, I had almost everyone I know ask me where did I go for my hair!! She is very flexible and hardworking. She is very approachable, prefers cell phone for appointment which works great as you can text to ask her for time. I would highly recommend her. Thanks Nadia again for my hair xxx more

I had the greatest experience at with Nydia at textures salon. I like how she was very professional and attentive with what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable of the right style for the frame of my face. Hands down great experience and can't wait to see Nydia again. more

Love Nadia 10/19/2009

I have been a client of Nadias in the past and have recently found her again.She is very talented and if you want talent and an excellent hair cut don't expect new stylest prices,she runs her own buisness and has over head and has to charge a little more than other stylests. She does a great cut and color ,and lets face it people you get what you pay for,she has never burned or damaged my hair and is enjoyable to talk to.I trust her with my hair and I enjoy her alot. Nydia has done my hair twice and I've always been pleased with the way the color looks. She tends to cut hair shorter than you ask her to. She's VERY expensive! For color and cut I paid over $230. I thought maybe she charged more because it was my first visit but the second time it was just as expensive. I don't quite understand why Nydia charges such unreasonable prices. It ultimately only drives clients away to more reasonably priced stylists who are equally or more talented. The color Nydia used was harsh on my hair or she overprocessed it. I've always had healthy soft hair until I went to her. It became dry and brittle and I've spent a lot of money on protein treatments and other products trying to correct it. Wow, everything they say about Nydia is true. I live near the beach in North Carolina and haven't been able to find someone that can make my hair look good. I was visiting a friend in Raleigh and she told me about Nydia. I was lucky enough to get an appointment and am I glad I did. Nydia suggested a cute short hair cut and changed my hair color. It looks soooo good, now I make a 3 hour drive just to see Nydia, but of course, I get a little shopping in as well. Nydia is a miracle worker 6/11/2009

My hair never looked right. I was eating lunch with a friend and her hair looks great. She told me about Nydia and I was lucky enough to get an appointment the following week. She gave me a new cut and color and I haven't had this many compliments in I don't know how long. Even my husband tells me how great I look. Thanks Nydia, I'll only be going to you. 995-3167 more

I went to Textures after reading all of the reviews online and was hopeful since I've been through a few hair stylists lately who were a lot of talk, but not delivery. These reviewers were absolutely right - on my visit, I got great new color, a fabulous cut that really works with my natually curly hair, and a terrific new hair stylist! Nydia was great! I have always been pleased with Nydia's work and now both of my teenage daughters have their hair cut by her as well. We live in Raleigh and don't mind driving to Cary for Nydia! more

Best Hair designers 3/10/2008

Nydia and Brittany are without a doubt two of the best hair designers of their time!! I have been going to both Brittany and Nydia for about 2 years now and will never go anywhere else!! I have been stopped many of times on my haircuts and color. I feel so beautiful after every appointment and highly reccommend these two beautiful people for anyone in town who is new and wants a refreshing new look for the area!! Get a Hair cut the way you want it every time! 3/2/2008

Nadia- will give you a great hair cut every time. She listens to what you want and cuts it just right. If you want something new, she will add a little color here, a little hairbang action there and it always looks great. My mom needed a new haircut and I referred her to Nadia. She went from an over grown bob to a sporty cut and it looks great. Nadia did her color which made her look even younger! She will be defintately be going back. Nadia and Bittany really enjoy what they do and they work well together. WhileI was getting my highlights done Brittany waxed my brows in between clients. What a sweet heart. more
