Tender Care Animal Hospital was founded in 2011 by Kristin Wells, DVM and Becky Burger, Head Veterinary Technician. Tender Care specializes in a full range of medical services for dogs, cats, small mammals, and exotics (birds and lizards). Our goal is to provide the highest quality care using state of the art medicine and comprehensive diagnostics.
The newly built office facility offers three exam rooms, a surgical suite, x-ray suite, and full dental capabilities. Our mobile van allows us to move locations and we can arrange appointments catered to your schedule and visiting preference. Whether you choose to visit our office or have us visit you at home, your pets' health is our number one priority.

The life of your pet is no different from your own; we all need checkups to make sure we are living optimally and to check for the presence of a disease. Wellness exams help to make sure that all systems are normal and that the animal is feeling healthy and happy.

It is important to check for silent ailments,such as heartworm or intestinal parasites. With a wide variety of in-suite diagnostic tests available,everything from blood work to kidney function can be screened. The state-of-the-art technology at Tender Care guarantees that the right diagnosis can be made quickly and efficiently to prepare for surgery or to rule out biological mechanisms of illness.
X-Ray:
With x-rays,our staff can make detailed identifications and analysis that help determine the best course of treatment.
The results are fast and can be critical in emergency situations. The in-house team doesn't have to wait for x-rays to develop; rather they can see immediately via quick and clear imaging abnormalities that may be life threatening.

The importance of the state-of-the-art facility that is Tender Care cannot be emphasized more than on surgery. We are equipped to handle minor to major surgery (everything from spays and neuters to complicated orthopedic and soft-tissue procedures).
