Take your pets there with confidence 8/31/2006

I have been taking my pets to Temple City Animal Hospital for 14 years. Dr. Carlson is both intuitive and careful. He is a skilled surgeon who listens to owners, explains information clearly, and keeps prices reasonable. He did what turned out to be a tricky knee surgery on my small dog which was very successful. The office staff is caring, personal, and professional, and have been there a long time. I feel confident that my two dogs and one cat are receiving the best possible care at Temple City Animal Hospital. more

Caring and comforting 4/24/2006

We had a Doberman for 13 years that we had to finally put down. The dog was lame and going blind and in a lot of pain. The people here were so caring and comforting. They tried to make the horrible choice before me a little easier. They reassured me and made me feel like I made the right decision. I was bale to stay with my dog while he passed and I was thankful for that. more

Reasonable Prices 8/1/2005

They don't seem intent upon gouging you for money as do some other animal hospitals do. Prices are reasonable. One example is that medicine I bought at Temple City Animal was $16 a bottle. The same medicine at an animal hospital in Monrovia that I used was $32. They don't look for excuses why you should come in every so often and have a complete exam costing $200 or $300. In today,'s world, that is pretty good, I think. PROS: Reasonable prices and good care. CONS: None that I know of. more

This is a place where you will always run into old familiar friends and faces because people who go here have been coming here for years. Growing up this is where my parents took all of our animals. The entire staff from the receptionist to the kennel clean up person were all so gentle and kind. Everyone took very good care of our animals. Now that I have animals of my own this is one of the places I trust my animals care to. more
