Best Thai in New York 2/12/2007

I don't mean best thai in Brooklyn. This is really the best thai food I've had in New York. For those who judge a thai restaurant based on the pad thai, you will agree. But don't stop there. The thai dumplings are amazing, the satay is ample and delicious. The duck salad is not to be missed. This is worth a trip from Manhattan. The service is polite, friendly and timely. The delivery prompt and never cold, even in the dead of winter. However you order at Teeda, you'll be happy. Pros: Amazing food Cons: Red Hook- no easy train access more

my opinion is the best thai in newyork ...I've been in Thailand numerious times My big complain in Newyork why we do not have such authentic food like in thailand, every restaurant in Newyork mostly loses their flavor and adjust their dished according to Newyorker's taste. And finally this restaurant came along.Every single dish is perfectly done in the right way,the produces are so fresh, sauces are excellent...they definately know what they were doing....the restaurant is very cozy, tastefully decoratedand service is very good, attentive yet not overly done...highly recommend it......... Pros: excellent food, good, service, great, parking more

Great food, bad muzak :) 1/17/2006

I love Teeda. The food is terrific. The best Thai I've had in the Bococa area (God, I hate that word). And I eat loads of Thai food. I recommend the Thai Fried Rice, the Pad Ki Mao, the Charred Beef Salad, and the Laab Gai salad. Yummmm. The soups are a little hit-and-miss and the music is just terrible--awful elevator/supermarket muzak. Atmosphere isn't bad, but could use just a little touch-up. Super nice wait staff. Their delivery is amazing as well--always prompt! Terrific value. more
