I was at my son's school when Jessica and Bonnie from Teddy Bear Dental came to show the children how to brush and care for their teeth. They were so friendly and fun that when it was time to take him for his first dental appointment I knew right away that I wanted to go to their office. It was a great first experience and my son was loving all the attention they gave to him, made him feel like a big boy! I am so glad to have found an office that deals with children only and the right combination of caring and kindness and Dr Teddy made him feel very special. Pros: friendly staff more

I was referred by a friend, who is a dentist in Irvine area. I have a 5 year old and 3 yeard old boys. My 5 year old is autistic, so I try very hard to do right things for him. Previously, I tried a couple of pediatric dentists, and they didn't go well. This office was very supportive of my effort and took time to cover all my questions. very kid-friendly and knowledgeable. My 5 year old for the first time left the dental office with a smile. That meant a lot to me. I would be happy to refer any parents looking for a good pediatric dentist in this area. By the way, I see a review about bad experience. I feel bad she had a bad experience. I work in claims department in dental insurance company, and I think It is not a fraud for a dental office to charge the co-insurance payment, which can be higher or lower than special discount for cash patient. I called for an appointment and asked the office if they accepted our insurance, if our insurance was in network. The staff yes.\r \r I called TWO MORE TIMES to confirm before the appointment and asked them to call for covered services. The staff said yes our insurance was in network and the cleaning services are all covered, there would be no out of pocket expense! THEY LIED! They did not call. They lied 3 times, I called 3 times! They didn't tell me this until after the service was done on that day. They are FRAUD s, a LIAR, very IRRESPONSIBLE!\r \r I went in because of an ad for $89, the insurance paid $150, and they still wanted $160. FALSE ADVERTISING! Somehow I think it is illegal they want more if you are using insurance. Is this insurance fraud? I know this is consumer fraud. \r \r Never go to\r Teddy Bear Dental\r Irvine\r Dr. Kim\r \r If you do, it is better you go in as a cash patient. Pros: Just ok.
