Client for 12 Years! 3/22/2010

I have been a client of Teddie's for 12 years. I freak out a bit at the thought of ever leaving Chicago! Seriously, I had bad hair for the first 40 years of my life. John, Cassandra, and Lana are my team of professionals - all compliments I receive I proudly direct towards them. Sometimes I can't see them, but I trust others on Alan's staff: Cindy, Tom, Linda, Lindsey, Yelena, Romee, Vanda, Marisha. \r \r For the complainers: You should have given the feedback directly in a professional manner when the event occurred, allowing the opportunity for any problems to be fixed. Maybe you visited on a day when someone was experiencing devastating news personally. Salons are run by people, not machines. more

A professional salon 3/22/2010

Complainers need to either speak up or deal with their upset while they are actually AT the salon. If you are an adult you can do this instead of hiding behind anonymous online complaints. \r \r I have been going to Teddie's for a few years and my mother has gone there for decades. John, master colorist, ALWAYS asks what I want and is fun and friendly while working. I have gotten cuts from several stylists there (Cheryl is my current stylist) and NEVER had a bad cut. Be specific about what you want! Colorists and stylists are not mind readers OR magicians. more

Alan is the Best!!!! 3/22/2010

I have been going to Teddie's for as long as I can remember. My kids give me gift certificates and I love them. If you have had pedicures at other places you can see the difference after the first pedi at Teddies! WOW! Alla is the best!! My daughter, all of her bridesmaids and myself were primped from head to toe at Teddies for her wedding. We couldn't have looked better than that day. Great service. Teddie Kossof Review 3/21/2010

I have been going to Teddie Kossof's for a few months now and have migrated all of my services to this salon. I started with facials and waxing with Jackie and now see John and Augustin for color and hair. I go every other weekend and have been pleased especially with the friendliness of the receptionists. The other big benefit to me is the online scheduling - a true convenience in my life. more

30 year customer 3/20/2010

Have been a twice a week client of Teddies for most of the last 30 years.This kind of loyalty is inspired by excellent service and a congenial atmosphere. I admire Teddies committment to many charities. My stylist, Cassandra is both experienced and accommodating. Haven't ever been disappointed in the colorists Lindsey, or Maria. Always available and proximate parking. Pleasant staff at service desk. Can't ask for more. Pros: Excellent stylists and colorists Cons: None so far more

The Master-Zac 3/20/2010

Working with the professionals at the Teddie Kossof Salon, I have never felt as confidant and well-cared for by an entire salon staff. Zac is the most amazing artist for color and style! He has an eye for creating cuts that accent your features, keeping your hair flowing and moving and healthy! After Teddies, I have never wanted anyone else to touch my hair. People are always asking me where I get my cuts! more

Wonderful place for hair and nails 3/20/2010

I have been going to this salon for the last 12 years. Trust me I am highly critical of what is done to me and am very particular when it comes to my appearance, so I don’t throw around compliments easily. I have had Grace cut my hair for all those years...she is wonderful,. I keep my hair short and she does a great job of framiing my face. My 25 year old daughter who is very particular about her hair would not go to anyone BUT Grace. My husband is using the salon now and his hair has never looked better, and our son was in for a few weeks and he needed a hair cut and he went to Grace and she did a fabulous job on very unruly hair! He was pleased. I use Maria as a colorist and she has done a wonderful job in the last few years of keeping the grey at bay, and Connie the shampoo person in that department is wonderful. Our nails are always done by Lana and they stay fresh and new looking for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. I have also used Vonda for acrylics and she is a master at making na more

After trying just about everyone else, I will never get color from anyone but Yelena at Teddy Kossof. She is absolutely the best at what she does. The hairline looks so natural, she is fast, fun, brilliant at what she does, and genuinely cares for her customers. more

Teddie Kossof Spa 3/20/2010

Spa is the best place I ever been. Dorota is the nicest person you can ask, always smile on her face, place is very clean. I am having massage there very often. All girls are very good. I was having appoitment with Marie, Karen, Barbara and I am very happy with every one of them. Always on time. The place makes you feel woelcome from the minute you arrive to the last second before you leave. A+ more

I love Yelena, Teddie's master colorist 3/20/2010

I spent years trying to find someone who could do a foil and make it look natural. Yelena has been a great find. She is absolutely excellent at what she does, caring, fun, and the best part is that around the hairline she makes it look so natural. Pros: fun, fast and absolute perfection Cons: expensive but worth it more

The mani was so bad my husband asked if I tried to do my nails myself 3/6/2010

To be completely honest, I'm a spa whore and have been to more than I can count. Now that that's out of the way...\r \r I've never been to Teddie's and received a gift certificate. I booked my appointment 4 days in advance and was excited to get my sea salt mani/pedi. Sadly, the anticipation was the highlight of the experience.\r \r My appointment was for 9am. My nail tech arrived for work at 9:10am. Nobody told her her first client was there, so she primped and gossiped until 9:25am. Finally I took matters into my own hands and went to the front desk to inquire where my nail tech was. No apologies.\r \r Meanwhile she: told me her life story, didn't have a nail file (hello, isn't this your job?), had dirty tools, gossiped with everyone around her and actually got up several times to "take a break".\r \r Result: Plain mani/pedi with no sea salt scrub, bubbles and streaks in my mani and a sloppy pedi. The woman never even looked at the ticket to see what services I was getting, and obviously had more
