First let me say, We attended for about a year. Our child was in recreational gymnastics. We are not one of those parents with aspirations of our daughter becoming the next Shawn Johnson. We just wanted a fun safe environment for our daughter to learn how to do a cartwheel or a handstand or two. With that said...\r

If you like being a number and not a customer. If you like the thought of over-crowded classes. If you like the thought of instructors (high school kids) that are more interested in chatting than helping your child. If you like a facility that changes policies on the fly to benefit there situation. And, if you like poor customer service, then TAG is for you.\r

In case you would like more evidence of the poor customer service, here goes. My daughter recently missed a class. Last Saturday, during a normal class I asked the staff person if they could find a day and time that my daughter could make up the class. They gave me the following Monday at 6:30 pm. I arrived on Monday at 6:25 pm and the owner (I believe her name is Diane) tells me that they are no longer doing make up classes and that the make up class I showed up for was full. I explained the staff member from Saturday set it up and if she would look in the book there was a post it with my daughters name on it. She opened the book and sure enough the post it was there. The owner proceeded to tell me she wouldn't be able to make up the class with that class because it was full. I asked her why then did her staff member give me this day and time for the make up. She said that maybe her staff person knew something that she didn't like someone wasn't going to attend Monday's class. I then got angry, feeling like my time had been wasted on the drive in, and the staff person never saying that the make up class would only happen if someone in the class did not show up. I told the owner that if my daughter did not get a make up class that evening I would be terminating the membership with TAG. She said that she would not add my daughter to a full class because of safety reasons. I then asked her if she wanted to check with the staff member (who I think is her daughter) who set up the appointment or do you want me to terminate the membership? The owner with out hesitation said, ""That is up to you..."" Not once did she offer to speak with the staff member in order to sort out the issue, offer an apology, or offer a concession for the snafu.
