My son Harrison has always demonstrated a love for and interest in music. On his 7th birthday we bought him a guitar and signed him up for lessons with him. It has been almost two years now and Harrison continues to be motivated to learn and grow as a musician. This is no easy task as anyone familiar with the energy level and attention span of little boys knows. He as a teacher to anyone interested in discovering music. 5/12/2013

He has taught my now 13 year old son guitar for over two years. With He’s guidance and direction he has advanced his skills dramatically. I credit Him for his keen sense of understanding with regard to how to engage my son and retain his interest early on. As a result, playing guitar has become his entertainment, his outlet and his passion. He has taught him not only specific guitar techniques and music theory, but has encouraged his personal creativity. I would highly recommend He as a teacher to anyone interested in discovering music. more

He spent time teaching me guitar in a both instructive and fun way and i went quickly from knowing nothing whatsoever about guitar playing to having a few simple songs under my belt. I highly recommend him as a teacher! more

After only 3 guitar lessons, I am positive that he is the instructor that I have been desperately searching for. Is a patient and knowledgeable instructor and capable of presenting things from a number of perspectives to make lessons eventful and entertaining. He is a wonderful piano teacher! He teaches theory and technique with a nice mix of classical music and enough stuff to keep my two children interested. He is encouraging and demanding at the same time and my children adore him. Whenever my kids play, people inquire about their teacher - a compliment to him. more

He is a wonderful teacher. He is encouraging and patient. He is a very good instructor of music and my 12 year old son enjoys him tremendously. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought that my son could learn to play the piano so beautifully. Thank you. more

He is an excellent musician and music teacher. I have been working on guitar for years and recently started piano again after not playing for 20 years. He is able to figure out exactly what I need to work on with either instrument. And can break down any song that I want to learn. more

He taught me on my level and was really good 3/3/2013

He taught me on my level and was really good at not being overwhelming. He knew the two songs I wanted to learn and was able to break them down to the point where now I feel like I could practice them on my own and work toward getting the strumming down (now I know how to use a pick!). He was very easy going and never made me feel like an idiot for asking a stupid question or anything. more

i have had the privilege of taking clarinet lessons with him and have learned to make music as opposed to just playing notes. he is very patient, understanding and will challenge you to improve. he‘s insight and knowledge as a clarinet teacher and ability as a player continue to impress and motivate me. more

i always wanted my daughter to play an instrument 2/6/2012

i always wanted my daughter to play an instrument, maybe because i never had the chance to learn myself. she's 6 and at first i was the one pushing her but after her first piano lesson she told me, "actually mommy i like my teacher." he keeps her motivated and keeps me informed with an update after each lesson, so i can see the progress she's making. most importantly she likes it. more

Bait and Switch Telemarker Scam 11/5/2011

Taylor Robinson's misleading ads are every bit as fraudulent as Takelessons.com and Elite Music instruction. He pretends to be a teacher who knows how to say the right things but the customer finds out that they are really just calling a telemarketer in Dallas who then tries to lie his way into talking you into paying him up front FOR A TEACHER HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE. Then he trolls though the musicians section of Craiglist to find the cheapest instructor so that he can pocket the difference. In summary, with all of these pay-up-front, bait-and-switch cons you end up paying the highest price to a salesman to find you the WORST instructor and then tries to lock you in so that you NEVER have a chance to find that rare instructor who can actually meet your needs.
