TASTE-T DRIVE IN is a great restaurant. Actually it is a small place where you order and you pick it up to eat somewhere else. They have a nice pavillion you can do that on outside, or you can take it with you. We usually take it with us, and the few times things have been prepared wrong, they make it right. They are very nice and friendly, but usually always very busy. I love going there a lot because they do have a lot of things on their menu and they are fast. more

Taste-T-Drive-In 4/9/2006

Taste-T Drive-In restaurant is a cool place to go. It's like a quick hamburger joint, as people call them. Problem is they have other foods as well, quick foods, such as liver mush sandwiches, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, slaw dogs, etc. The place is extremely popular in Shelby. It's located in front of Eckerd's on East Marion Street, so it is centrally located. They are open until 8pm every night, but they are closed on weekends. more

Taste-T-Drive-In 4/8/2006

I go to Taste-T-Drive-In for their cheeseburgers.The name of this place is a drive-in, but really it's not. You have to park in order to order food. You have to go to the window. You can't order from your car. They do take call-in orders, which is what I like to do. I don't like waiting there, so I usually call my order in and they will tell you when it will be ready. Usually it's like 15 minutes or so. I love going there because it has great food and great prices. What else can you ask for?!? Well, maybe crinkle cut fries! WHAT? They have them? Yes, they do. What a great place to eat then! LOL! more

Taste-T-Drive-In 3/19/2006

Taste-T Drive-In is my choice for cheeseburgers. Their fries are good as well. They are a take out place only, although there is a pavillion you can eat with picnic tables there as well. I love going there when it's not so cold and not so warm so I can eat under that awning. However, I find myself going there a lot. They have a wonderful menu. I enjoy going there getting the cheeseburger basket or maybe a grilled chicken sandwich. This is Shelby's place for fast food, take-out, trust me. more
