I highly suggest that you do not sign a contract with this company. There is a lot of fine print. Their standard term is 60 months and then they automatically renew you for another 60 months. We've had terrible service and complained multiple times, but told those don't count because they weren't done in writing certified return receipt. Stuck in a contract with this company for 45 more months and spend about 30-45 minutes weekly dealing with counting the linen order and getting them to bring us the linens that we actually should have gotten. We've had our order delivered incorrectly for the last 4 weeks. more

A small business owner in Asheville, Revive Day Spa. Their Salesman came to solicit my business. My first response was to say no, we provide our own laundry service. (which I alrealy truly did). they then said, If i would give them a chance to break into the Asheville Market, they would give me a great deal. 80. a week for linen service. I paid my staff more than this to do linen, so it was a good deal. 4 months after, this, I became sick, and closed my business. OUT OF BUSINESS. they started harassing me thru phone calls, etc... then turned it over to their attorney. I had paid them, 1st mo, with check, next 3 payments in cash. They tried to bill me for each of the 3 cod payments. and the rate I was quoted was not the rate I owed??? I then felt they owed me a refund. Since they had doubled my quote. (they said it was just a quote? ) I I am now in court (contract says I owe them this amount for 4 years????? I AM OUT OF BUSINESS. They want me to pay them for future deliveries they will not be making because I am CLOSED. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I went to the owner, and he does not care at all, They do not treat you like family. They also tried to bill me for items they did not even purchase for my business? Robes, and special sheets. ( I alreay had Robes), The sheets were stamped with a Hospital Logo on them. They were not purchased for me. more

We feel we have done very well which has allowed us to be in business for three generations. We take good care of our customers and we are there whenever needed. Our company strives to work with our customers when they are undergoing financial hardships. In some cases, service may be ceased for non-payment of outstanding invoices while awaiting a resolution. As a locally operated company our employees are your neighbors, spending money in your community. In order to keep our hardworking staff employed we must collect for services rendered. The linen rental industry is customer service driven. The satisfaction of our customers is our number one priority. It is very unfortunate that some situations do not result in an amicable separation. Our company makes it a priority to find a workable resolution to each service concern. We learn from every situation and become a better company because of it. more

While suffering from a terrible illness, Tarheel Linen hung us out to dry! They changed the terms of our contract without contacting us. The do not return phone calls, and their contract is for their benefit only. Running a small business is tough, but people like Tarheel Linen Service make things more difficult. I have been on disability over the past year and have had to endure a lawsuit by these people for terminating the contract before it was over. Unfortunately, the State of NC looks out for the big guy in these situations. In addition, their product is substandard. They brought in stained towels, napkins and burned tablecloths. Often the order was short and we were charged anyway. Save yourself the headache. DO NOT USE TARHEEL LINEN SERVICE! more

Do NOT use this linen company! They will shoot a line about being part of their “family”. Don’t buy it! My husband was in the hospital in ICU, my Dad was at Hospice and I was trying to run a restaurant. I came in one day to no linens! After 3 days of unreturned phone calls, I was informed they changed my terms to COD. No one notified me! I had to purchase linens to operate my business. The following week, I had to leave the hospital to let the delivery guy in, because he lost his key! They broke the contract with me. I asked them to pick up their inventory and to not come back. They then took 4 of my anti-fatigue mats and then sued me! I was not able to attend the last hearing because I was with my husband who was in the hospital! I do not have the money to hire an attorney. They have now taken a lean against my property. Why is it that contracts only protect the big guy? Save yourself the trouble and sleepless nights, go with someone else or wash your own linens! more
