Target Stores

This Target used to be awesome when it moved from closer to the westshore mall to it's current location. Since then I have been a happy customer, until the last 6 months or so. It's terrible. They decide to add a grocery section, but instead of enlarging the store to make room for the food, they just made existing departments smaller, meaning they carry less items in these departments. The two that took the biggest hit--Home and Baby.......??? These are departments that Holland needs. There are few places in this town where you can buy things in these categories. In addition to their poor choice in downsizing important departments to add more food, the management seems to be failing. They have been increasingly understocked and understaffed. I have been waiting for them to get a baby monitor in for over a week now. They have had at least 2, maybe 3 trucks come in since they ran out of this monitor, I just called and they still do not have it. The other day when I was there there was 1 person on the floor in the entire back of the store (electronics, mens clothing, baby, toys, seasonal). He was running around like crazy and when I caught him told me it would be about 5 minutes before he could help me because he had that many people to help in front of me! There were maybe 2 checkouts open and 10 people in line in each of them. It wasn't very busy in the store, it was just understaffed. I have voiced my concerns to the general manager of this store. He said he knows it's a problem and he's heard it from many, many other customers since the renovation. He said he would speak to his boss about it, but I haven't seen any changes or heard anything and this was a few months ago now. I think it's a big problem when the general manager of the store says he knows there's a problem and he's heard it a lot about it, but nothing changes. Meanwhile I guess I'll be shopping on Amazon more....... more

This Target is super clean and organized. I would recommend hitting their dollar racks the second you walk in! If you hit it right you can get 4 for $1 when they are clearing out the racks for new inventory. They are currently mixing up our Target, so it will be interesting to see what new products are coming! What I love most about this Target is the fact you never stand in line for more than a minute or two before they call up for more register help. more

I am a huge Target fan, so I am glad to have such a nice one nearby! This store is new, clean, well organized, and well stocked. There are always plenty of friendly staff available for whatever you may need. They keep plenty of checkout lines open, so you don't usually have to wait long. The food court area is nice too--there are always fresh Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas available, as well as popcorn, ice cream, and many other treats. more
