Best

When you think of Labor Day, what do you usually think about? For me, Labor Day signifies the dreaded "Back to School" time. Thank god I am entering my last year of college,...

Worst

Has a horrible return policy, even if you have a baby registry with them. Not every guest gives a receipt with their gift. Wish they would make exceptions for the registries.

I'm goin' to Target (me saying "Target" with a French accent-- pronounced "Tar-jay") 10/12/2007

I mainly go to Target to check out the latest in Women's fashion, particularly the "GO International" collection, which consists of clothes designed by up-and-coming fashion designers. Most of the designers in this collection put out clothes that are decent to stylish. They're stylish by appearance (although the quality isn't as great as the Real McCoys), but they don't hurt your wallet like most independent/high-end designer clothes. If you want designer clothes at a reasonable price, always go for the ones that are made for stores for the masses/the not-so economically privileged. So far, I like Proenza Schouler, Libertine, and Alice Temperley. I think they've covered a lot British and French fashion. I'm wondering if they'll ever put out a collection by an Italian designer. I also like some clothes by Izaac Mizrahi, Mossimo (being a 20 something and still fitting into junior clothes amazes me) and Merona. I can proudly say that Target is the store where I get most of my shoes. I like the designs that are put out by Xhileration and Izaac Mizrahi. I don't like Mossimo so much because their pumps don't provide a natural arch for me. Other than clothes, I also shop for food, cosmetics (I go on the lookout for items such as ones for the L'Oreal HIP collection), home decor (I love Target's take on modernism), and holiday paraphernalia. These items are affordable and useful for me. The store associates are friendly and helpful, especially when I go to the fitting room to try on the clothes. There is plenty of parking there versus the nearby shopping center (South Street Plaza). In worse case scenarios (if I have to go the South Street Plaza), then I have to park closer to Target. There are two Target stores in my area. I mainly go to the one on South Street since it's a bigger store than the one on Bloomfield Ave. I also check out the Target Store in the relatively new Ameridge Heights Shopping Center in Fullerton. It's not too crowded and there's a large selection of items. Other than that, Target always puts a smile on my face because I always get great deals on my purchases. more

Labor Day Galore 8/26/2006

When you think of Labor Day, what do you usually think about? For me, Labor Day signifies the dreaded "Back to School" time. Thank god I am entering my last year of college, so I could finally end the "Back to School" phase. Personally, I know that most parents and students buy their school supplies during Labor Day weekend. So, the real question is, where should I do my "Back to School" shopping? Personally, I love shopping for school supplies during Labor Day weekend at my local Target Greatland (http://www.target.com ). Just looking at the store, I keep asking myself, what don't they have? From school supplies, foods, clothes, furniture, and tools, you can find great deals on all these items. What I love most about Target is that most stores set aside a specifc place just for back to school items. School supplies has it's own section in the store (separated from office supplies). When you look at the prices, you'd think Target was insane. For example, take a look at a 10 pack of 70 page notebooks. How much you ask? $1.00. That's right, a buck. How about crayons for your kids? You could get them for less than a quarter. How about book covers? Less than a buck. You can also find a pack of pencils that'll last a whole school year for less than a buck as well. Well, you now might be asking me "Julian, I'm not a college student, nor do I have children, so what other Labor Day deals can I find?" Well, you can find all your favorite deals by checking out your local Target flyers, or you can look at the online Target flyer by accessing http://weeklyad.target.com/target/new_user_entry_page.asp . When you hit that page, you need to type in your zip code and hit enter. What I also love about Labor Day weekend at Target is that the electronics go on sale, and who doesn't love electronics? You'll see items such as calculators, printers, DVD players, and CD players all go on sale between 15% and 30% off! How about clothing? Yup, Target puts those on sale during Labor Day weekend as well. Many jeans, shoes, shirts, and pants will have price cuts for the weekend. With all this Labor Day shopping, I'm sure you'd be hungry. No problem. Most Targets these days have their own specialty food mart located in the front of the store. Here they sell popcorn and hotdogs and soda with other snacks so you can get refreshed and ready for another round of shopping. I guess you should now be equipped for Labor Day. The real question is "Are you ready to save a lot of money at Target?" more

Just Okay 4/15/2006

I dont really like this location because the womans clothing department is too small they dont offer much like other target stores. I did get some valentines candy for 75% off. Another thing is that sometimes you have to go around the parking lot looking for shopping carts because there isnt any inside the store at times. more

One of my favorite places to shop 1/12/2006

This place is huge! Not to mention also fantastic. This place has everything you can imagine! Not to mention they have most of their products at affordable prices too! What i love most about this place is the parking and the after holiday sales. This place always has parking because of their huge parking lots. Also, this place is great after the holidays because of their 50% off sales, and if you wait a week, you can get the stuff 75% off! Sometimes, you can get 90% off!. This place is the best! more

Big Target 6/27/2005

This Target store is pretty big. I like it because it is clean and the items are well organized and easy to find. The employees here are very helpful and kind. Checkout lines are hardly ever long. Their is plenty of parking spaces available at this Target. I highly recommend this Target! more
