First of all, I want to say that the staff did make a few mistakes at the beginning. 1) They messed up my DOB, SSN and occupation. Kind of important considering they may have had a completely different patient. 2) They changed my appointment without making me aware of the change. 3) They sent me to the wrong office. None of these instances are life changing. However, when you are dealing with something as important as infertility, you want the people you are paying $16K out of pocket to be on top of things. I complained to Dr. Tarantino and must say that no more mistakes were made. After that it was a smooth sailing. The nurses have been nothing but kind, knowledgeable, understandable, and extremely patient. Heather, one of the nurses, has been wonderful. They lead me step by step, no surprises but no promises either. It was an excellent experience. Dr. Tarantino is very to the point, very positive and he made me feel like we were old friends and we would go through this together. The clerical staff also made sure that I had Dr. Tarantino for most of my appointments. I changed an appointment and they were very apologetic because I had to see Dr. McCormick. Obviously it was not their fault as I was the one making the change. Dr. McCormick was amazing. She is very pleasant, calm, patient, knowledgeable, takes her time to listen to all the questions and explain. She has released me and I am now seeing my regular OB but she said that I can come back and see them any time if I feel more comfortable. I would certainly recommend this clinic but bring any concerns to Dr. Tarantino's attention. This is a huge deal and every woman deserves to be treated with the utmost respect.
