This is a nice little place that specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine in Del Ray. I’m a big fan of the tacos here. They have great chicken, beef, steak and even duck tacos. They are filled with very fresh ingredients. The only item I have not enjoyed here is their fish tacos. They really are too bland. more

Wonderful 4/7/2006

This small restaurant is located off of Mount Vernon Avenue. The restaurant is situated in a nice little area of Del Ray. Overall, the food is all rather inexpensive and tastes great. Besides their daily menu they always have 3-4 specials daily. Everything here is great. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. more

This is a great place in Del Ray. It is has received numerous awards for being of the better value dining establishments in the area. I’m a big fan of their duck tacos. They are so scrumptious. They have some nice vegetarians options too. I recommend coming here on a nice day and dining outside in their patio. more

If you are looking for fresh tacos, quesadillas, and burritos in Del Ray this is my favorite place. The service is great and they only use fresh ingredients. Your meal will start with nacho chips and jicama you can dip in their great salsa. I always order something from their specials menu or go with their great duck and shrimp tacos. more

Tacqueria Poblano is a great little find on Mt. Vernon Ave. in Del Ray. The inviting, low-key interior is welcoming. The servers are friendly and helpful. And the food is authentic and consistently delicious. The chips are house-made, as are the salsas, but you won't want to fill up on them, no matter how good they are. Try the various tacos - all priced individually so you can try several different flavors. The margaritas you have with your meal will be ice-cold and perfectly proportioned. Definitely worth a trip for this little gem. more
