Fabulous 9/10/2004

I recently stumbled upon Tapino and think I have found gold. My dining experience was exquisite from the menu presentation to the delicate desserts. Without a doubt this restaurant has got it all. Beautifully designed with subtle lighting and magnificent artwork, the ambience is enriching. The food was equally divine. Future Hot-Spot! 9/2/2004

I just ate with several friends at Tapino (the old ""Marias when in Naples"" on Shea) Fantastic!! More wines-by-the-glass than anybody and the food was eclectic and wonderful. Try the stuffed dates, and the Sea Scallops. Also had a bowl of maybe the best ice cream that I've ever had. I really like the ""small plate"" concept - was getting tired of the ""do you want your potatoes baked or mashed?"" that everybody else does. Pros: food, decore, wine knowledge more
