Susan is Wonderful!! 10/5/2008

I began going to this Tanas location about a year ago and I must say it's the best hair salon I've ever been to! Very nice atmosphere, professional and up-beat staff are just a few of the perks! Susan is my stylist and boy what a gem! I bring photos to her ever time I get my hair done and she welcomes conversation and photos about what ""I"" want done to my hair. Many other stylists from my past would always do what ""they"" wanted to my hair. Anyway...every time I visit Susan I leave more pleased than the appointment before. She can look at the photos I show her and translate my 'gibberish' into what I really want and she also gives her honest opinion about what will or will not look good or work with my hair type, complexion, etc. I have gotten all over color, highlights and cuts from Susan and have never been more happy with my hair! My Spa 9/15/2008

I love Tanas! I have been going there for all of my beauty needs for many years. I have seen lots of the staff members over the years. They have always had great team work and I've always felt like they were family. I have to say that I was shocked to read these reviews. Maybe this website is designed for promotion or customer awareness, but what I see is uglyness. It looks like to me that instead of teamwork and a sense of family that there is a war going on here. These comments that should be pure information look like rudness and hurtful comments towards people who work at Tanas. I am personally offended by put downs and downright mean comments made about ANY of the staff that work at My spa. Shame on YOU! You should care about the Tanas staff the way they care for you when you are at the Spa. I can't think of any place I've been treated better. The service from the first smile to the goodbye hug is warm and inviting. You can tell that those peole care about each other and they care about me too. Not So Great Bikini! 9/11/2008

I came in to get a waxing before heading off to the beach and Beth did my service! To say the least she not only took the unwanted hair but she also took big chunks of skin! I can only say that this was very unpleasant at the beach with the salt and the sand!!! more

I have just moved here and was delighted to use Brynn at Tanas in Cary. This stylist was so professional and took my haircut to a new and beautiful level. The cut was gorgeous and the color exceeded my expectations of what I thought my hair could ever look like. I am so pleased to have met her and am so happy that she has taken me out of the outdated style that I went in there with. She made me feel very comfortable and I feel that the best compliment will be telling all of you to use her. Thank you Brynn for making me feel great about myself! Pros: fresh new ideas! more

I just want to say THANK YOU to Beth Taylor. I had to ask Beth ""what or who can I tell how much I love you!"". She said "" thats easy! go to this web site and tell the world!!! Beth did my make up for a practice for my wedding and when I got home everyone just started crying and said ""PERFECT""!! I went to the mall but we will not even discuss that story. Also her manager was so funny offering a helping hand in doing my make up! He is this gentle giant of a man offering her help if she needed it knowing he would not even know where to start! LOL! so he helped my nerves a little.So to my new friends and wonderful Esthetician Thank You so much for listening to me and I will see you soooooon! Denise and Paul are amazing! 8/6/2008

My mom and I get our nails done with Denise and hair cut with Paul all the time. Both of them are absolutely amazing. They're social and do exactly what you ask. Paul is funny and does a GREAT job at cutting and styling hair. Denise is amazing with nails and is a very nice lady. If you don't know what color you want on your nails, you can count on her to pick a beautiful one out for you. I highly recommend this salon. more

Almost perfect! 7/30/2008

I must reiterate several of the comments already written. Mark does excellent cuts...he is a bit pompous, but his skills are wonderful. I get compliments every time I get a cut from him. Jamie does wonderful color... my daughter loves her. Lynn is a wonderful pedicurist/manicurist; she makes me feel so special when I'm in there. And...Beth is a wonderful aesthetician. Paul is somewhat difficult to listen to when Mark is cutting my hair... he talks too much for my taste and is really more full of himself than Mark is! I highly recommend Tanas...the front desk ladies are so nice and helpful and professional...they will help you with any issues you may have/need with appointments, sales, etc. Oh! My kids love Chris, Jamie and Ann! AND...the massages with Pamela are fabulous...she can do anything from deep tissue to relaxing massages...!! Mark's the best stylist and Tanas Cary is the best salon by far! 7/29/2008

I love coming to Tanas in Cary! Everyone I've come in contact with is so friendly and they make you feel comfortable and at home right away!. And, of course, the main reason I come here is Mark. After several bad salon and stylist experiences at other salons, I thought having bad hair was inevitable. Not so--Mark got the color right and the cut is awesome. I've never had people ask where I get my hair done before--now it happens regularly. Mark is extremely professional, friendly, a pleasure to talk with, and Tanas is very lucky to have him. He took the time to show my how to properly dry my hair so that it always looks great. This is an upscale salon without the attitude! more

Fantastic customer service 7/29/2008

Lauren is wonderful, she does such a great job with my color and hilites!!! She is so warm and friendly and easy to chat with. Beth is also terrific, she has lightened my dark splotches on my face and diminished my wrinkles significantly. She is also quick and fairly painless with the waxing! I won't go anywhere else! The girls at the front desk are very helpful and call the day before to remind you of your appointments! Great relaxing place to go, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! I've been to several places to have my waxing done, but when I found Beth at Tanas, that's the only place I've been for the past several years. She's the BEST! She really knows her stuff. She's quick and thorough, and she is a very nice person. I drive over 50 miles one way every month just to see Beth. Put your best face forward with Beth Taylor 7/16/2008

Since I turned 40, I've been struggling with my ever changing skin. Wrinkles and acne at the same time are just not fair! No matter what I did, I seemed to make one or the other worse. Since I've been going to Beth, my skin has improved immensely. She's also been quite helpful with make-up tips. I'd highly recommend her. Thanks Beth! more
