Tamarind Bay - Coastal Indian Kitchen

Tamarind Bay Coastal is my favorite Indian restaurant in Boston as it brings to Boston a unique coastal cuisine which none of the other indian restaurants specialize in.The food is outstanding and the menu has some very exciting dishes like the Goan shrimp, manglorian lobster,maharashtrian pomfret which is a very popular fish delicacy from Bombay.If you are a seafood lover like I am then you must try this place as there is nothing like this in the city.\r \r If you have not tried coastal food from India then you are definitely missing out on something.The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and great service.The owner is very attentive and offers great suggestions to go with your palate and taste.I would highly recommend you try this place.\r Pros: Amazing food, Ambience and Service more

I went there last Saturday after reading the Boston Herald Review. Great neighborhood gem. Specially loved the toned down decor compared to most Indian restaurants. Service was good and 3 of us ended up spending around $68. We had two glasses of Pinot Noir. My favorite dishes were Cabbage Chitwa, Crab Cakes, Whole Fish ( I don't remember the name), Daal and Mutki Murgh. Can't wait to go back again.
