Ok, probably the only authentic Mexican/Latin American food in Redford...excluding Taco Bell of course!!! The owner Herc is one of the nicest business owners you'll ever encounter and their food is outstanding to boot. They have a Tex Mex burrito that will challenge even the biggest of eaters to finish. Their tamales are superb...beef, chicken or pork! I've been going there for several years and I've never had a disappointing meal. No fine dining and only a couple of tables, Tamales Express is mainly a take away food experience. Stop in for lunch or dinner! Pros: Food is amazing!!! more

Great, authentic Latin American food. Not much room to dine inside, but they have a convenient take-out window! Wonderful, courteous, friendly owners / staff. FABULOUS food - their tamales ROCK! Nothing fancy, just great food at a great price. Pros: Inexpensive, Great food, family-owned and run more
