Good: trying hard to find something; nice atmoshere...... Bad: Prime rib was not even warm when served Garlic mashed potatoes were cold and hard Brussel sprouts were warmed in butter but were hard, uncooked not ever al dente Baked haddock had bones in it. I've eaten haddock for well over 50 years and never had multiple bones in it. My wife stopped eating it! A $210 meal for 4 of us, was horrible!!! Never go there again. Improvements: cook and serve hot meals, for that cost I expected it to be 'good' to 'great' didn't come close!. Other: I'm going overboard giving it a 1 rating..... more

Talpeys has new name 5/1/2009

They have changed names. Last time I revisited Talpeys, when it was still Talpeys it was NOT good. Fresh swordfish was fresh frozen Scallops arrived with only four on plate. We had about 12 people there, and food was not good. Don't know if things have changed with new name? more

Need to offer a variety of dressings 1/22/2007

Write your review here. Talpeys is pretty good, my disappointment is that they only give you two choices of dressings for on salads (Vinegar and Oil and Blue Cheese). I loved their Scallops.....(very good). I like that they also have a player piano in the dinning room. Service has always been pretty good. more

Talpey's 4/15/2006

This place is a great restaurant. You can sit back and have an elegnat dinner with a nice red wine, or you can sit at the bar and watch the game. They set the bar around the corner of the dining room, so people in the dining room enjoying a quiet meal don't have to hear the people cheering on the game at the game. There is also a wide variety to the meals they offer on their menu. more

Talpey's 12/8/2005

Yummy and cozy place to get a good burger or an excellent aged steak. They have a bar and some seafood. There is a huge stone fireplace that adds to the atmosphere. more
