So glad I found this camp! 7/18/2012

It has always been difficult to get my daughter invoved in things - she is a homebody. However, she began going to go to Tall Pines 5 years ago and still LOVES it. \r She always likes her counselors and she has made many good friends there. She is not typically a sports enthusiast, but she loves all the activities there and has become so much stronger physically, as well as emotionally, from this camp. I saw the difference after the first year, so I do believe alot of her growth is from camp. more

Highly recommended! 8/12/2010

My son has OCD and his social skills are a little "off" for his age, so I've had my challenges trying to find a day camp for him that recognizes that not all kids are perfect angels 100 percent of the time, that adequately supervises the kids and doesn't leave ill-equipped teenagers in charge, and is understanding of my child's needs without subjecting me to regular judgemental phone calls. My son's in his third trouble-free summer now at Tall Pines and it's been a pleasant experience for both of us. If your kid is out of the average norm in any way, this is the place for him or her, and you won't have to cringe every time the phone rings either. more

Nothing comes close to this!!! 4/16/2008

This will be my daughter's fourth summer at Tall Pines. She just turned 10 and the camp is diverse enough to offer every age group a fun filled summer. The cost is justified in that your child is picked up and dropped off at your DOORSTEP!! The food is nutritous and plentiful and the kids stay well hydrated with popscicles, water, juice at no addiotional cost. The camp also has a parent, grandparet Day and also Fourth of July festivities for the WHOLE family (FOOD INCLUDED FREE). I have found no camp that compares to this. more

FANTASIC! 7/17/2007

My son loves it and so do I! \r \r I was reading other reviews and was a little stunned about the comments on price. Yes, it does cost more, but you get soooo much more. Like expert swim instruction taylored to your child's ability. The menu's and food quality are wonderful. There are other cheaper camps in the area but the quality of staff, children, activites and meals can not begin to compair to Tall Pines. more

a good camp 10/3/2005

i think that this camp is nice but a bit on the pricy side there are oter camp is the area that i like as well and they are not as costly, i think they also need some shade there and the kids say that as well, i have been able to send my kids for only half the summer due to the price of the camp but i do sure wish that i could send them for another 4 weeks more

A fun filled summer 9/10/2005

This summer a signed my kids up for activities at Tall Pines Day camp. While the prices are a bit more than some of the other camps in the area, they offer alot of options. My son really enjoyed their All Sports camp which lets them participate in many different sports all summer. the girls just went to the regular day camp which offers different activtes daily. They also have swimming every day. They go t to learn things like, ceramics, gymnastics, horeback riding and even drama. They are already asking to go again next year. more
