I went in during the lunch hour. there was only two other tables in there, both of which had already got their food. I ordered the daily special. It took 20 minutes for them to put together two funny tacos and a dr. pepper. I was on my lunch break from work and hardly had time to eat. Then when I got the food the taco shells were stale and clearly not fresh. The customer service was terrible, the lady who took my order didn't greet me when I came in she actually didn't take my order right away because she had to look for a pen. I used to love this place but recently it has not been as good! Please get it together...I miss the old taco express! more

Really Good Mexican Food! Quick and Yummy! 3/19/2011

Of the places in the area to get a quick hot meal, Taco Express has to be the tops. It's not fancy but the food is delicious and everyone in our party of 3 enjoyed their dinner. My mouth is still tingling from the hot sauce. I'll take Taco Express over the the in-town alternatives for a quick meal or driving to Hays (for a similary priced but not so quick meal). more

Not the traditional taco's im use to eating, but they were cool. The guacamole was great. im a give it a second try and select something else on the menu more
