There are too many people at the bar at once... you either need to get more bartenders for faster services or make room for another bar

this is my favorite place to come out to when i want that big city night club experience. It fits alot of people and the club is usually packed with all kinds of people looking good and ready to party. I never spend as much money like other clubs and the girls there are always hot. When me and my people walk in and it wasn't a long wait, the people that work there are really cool, treat you like one of there own. They have great drink prices, and really great music. SO, I WENT IN ON A THURSDAY AND PAID $15 TO DRINK FREE ALL NIGHT!!! THE MUSIC WAS GOOD AND EVERY BAR I WENT TO HAD A NICE BARTENDER. I ENDED UP BUYING A BOTTLE AND CHILLIN' IN VIP THE REST OF THE NIGHT CAUSE THE BARTENDER IN THE FRONT TOLD ME ABOUT THEIR $75 BOTTLE SPECIAL. Make it your spot in downtown 3/15/2009

I'm the girl that loves to dance and Tabu is where I like to go. I love that they have open bar twice a week and Fridays and Saturdays, they have $3.50 drinks! The dj's are on their game and playing the hottest tracks. I go at least once a week Pros: Drink specials, bartenders, music Cons: Not open on Mondays more

I like tabu, they always got some good special going on. Plus they always have a freestyle concert every 3rd wednesday. The best thing recently is they have 2 ladies nights! One on tues and one on fri! Pros: They are making lots of renevations! Cons: Nothing bad to say more

  • The Scene
    Located on Orange Avenue in the center of downtown, Tabu attempts to repent for its previous life as the uber-cheesy Zuma Beach Club and restore some of the glory to this former location of the historic Beacham Theatre. A beach theme is somewhat still in effect, but the renovation makes creative use of the venue's expansive interior--there's a main floor and a fairly large upstairs lounge--with a stylized art deco-meets-Egypt concept throughout.

    The Draw
    Weeknights mainly spotlight mainstream house-dance and hip-hop, while weekends feature underground DJ talent. Special events include national superstar DJs, live bands and celebrity appearances. Hungry guests can order from the sushi menu, smokers can pull out cigars, and drinkers take delight in an extensive champagne, beer, martini, Scotch and fine-wine selection (with bottle service). Separate VIP areas for the beautiful people. The Bonkerz Comedy Club is also located here.
