Living in upstate New York, you have to be diligent in seeking out fun pastimes during the endless winters! Taberg Tower Snow Tubing is a one-of-a-kind local spot that offers a great time to even the most anti-outdoorsy person!
For a fee (a bit high at $10.00/person, but well worth it if you stay a day), you rent an inner-tube that you can use on the tube-lift (circumventing one of the big sledding complaints with your kids--walking back up the hill!) to slide down one of the four snow-covered hills of varying speeds and daredevil-ness.
There are 2-person tubes available (and experienced tubers will point out the colors that are slicker, and thus faster!) and an indoor small cafe with drinks and a snack bar available!
