When people get good at something, they tend to forget how hard it was for them to learn, and it's tough to relate to people who are just learning because you, as a player, have far surpassed them. I think you do a good job of remembering what it was like for you when you were learning and can relate that to your teaching. more

doesnt judge me 11/30/2012

This is an amazing teacher! As an older beginner I was intimidated to try and learn guitar, something I had always wanted to do. This teacher however, put me @ ease almost instantly. I am all over the board w/my interests, from songs to scales to theory. The teacher is patient and dedicated and doesnt judge me and what I want to focus on @ each lesson. more

What I appreciated most... 11/28/2012

What I appreciated most with the lessons was the teacher's willingness to cater to individual interest and make progress in areas/subjects that you are into at the time. It made learning enjoyable because you, as opposed to a rigid series of topics/lessons, influenced what you learned each week. That said, expect to be a well rounded player, as the teacher seems to make it all relevant and interesting. more
