T & K Transmission performed a differential replacement in my Cadillac. I would recommend them to people because they seemed very honest and explained everything to me in nice detail. I think that the service could have been done a little bit more quickly. It was all good other than that. more

I've got an older car. It's a 1973 Monte Carlo. Older cars require maintenance as they get older. I've had engine work done with T & K Transmission & Automotive Specialists and they basically got her back pretty near close to the level of what it was when she was new. I just recently got front end work done with them. Everything is just really tight. There's a noticeable difference between the way it was before and the way it is now. They have also have made suggestions and recommendations on future maintenance and what I might consider and how much time it would take. They are very adaptable to working with my schedule. I would set out and say, "Well, I can't bring it in this month, but next month I can set aside two days." I know I can call ahead of time and pretty much get it in and out on time. Detroit and myself are the only ones who have had this car. I've been with T & K for ten years. They were originally AAMCO representatives and my transmission has a lifetime warranty with AAMCO. I was with them when they were AAMCO and when they ceased to have a relationship, it was natural for me to stay with them. Robert at the Irving location does an excellent job of working with the client. more

First off, I live quite a distance away from T&K Automotive Specialists. The guy picked me up and took me home. Having him give me a ride to and from the Irving location was a big deal to me because my wife had my truck while her car was in the shop. T&K's people were more than willing to work with me. Plus, they reimbursed me for an error that was made. This place is very honest. more

T&K Automotive Specialists has done several things for me. I own a 2005 Impala and in August of 2012, they redid my transmission for me and they did it at an affordable price. The service managers where very nice, explained everything to me in layman's terms so I could understand. They told me that it would be ready in four days and they were done on time. Any questions I had, they explained things to me. I had three things done this year, one was to replace a radiator and they said it would be done by Friday. They gave me a rental so I would be out of a car during the replacement and when they called and told me it wouldn't be done that Friday, I told them that I needed some things out of my car for the weekend. They went out of their way to get those things to me. It was perfect. more

I had my Honda Accord Transmission fixed by a Big Chain Transmission Shop, but, everytime I went out of town on a road trip, it would overheat - they could not fix it. My mechanic recommended I take it to T&K Automotive Specialists. Three months and 2 long out of town road trips later, I can say these guys FIXED IT! No more Problems. And, they are Friendly, have a great shop. I'd recommend them to anyone needing a car repair. more

T&K Automotive Specialists provided 5.5 out of 5 service. They were very professional and helpful. I had a warranty with my truck, and Tan was very knowledgeable about the warranty company because they've done business with them in the past. He did all the contacting for me with the warranty people. I ended up needing a rental car, and Tan actually referred me to an Enterprise that he'd worked with. He got me special pricing for my rental. I will be recommending T&K. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future. more

T and K Automotive Specialists deserves high rankings because they offer direct communication from Marcus (a floor manager). His willingness to call with updates, although the repair went on for an extended amount of time, was appreciated. They made corrections at no additional cost while the car was open and I felt they were thorough. It took a week and a half longer than I was originally told but they explained why along the way, there was an effort to be thorough and they didn't rip me off. more
