Great people, service, and price 9/4/2007

TG's does mostly VWs, but Tommy Guest can fix darned near anything. I've been using his service for my 74 VW Super Beetle for 4 1/2 years, and I've been very satisfied with the work over time. His son Keith used to work there too, so it was kind of cool to see father and son working together. Tommy told me he plans to retire soon when I saw him last, so I'm not sure if he's around there any more, but I certainly would recommend his shop if he is still there. more

volkswagen repair shop 2/2/2007

After lots of searching and calling for a VW/Volkswagen repair shop in Waco, TX, I found T G's... A blog entry (Inheriting the '73 Super Beetle) about someone's use of Tommie's Garage helped in tracking down T G's. Had to correlate the address given when another local mechanic to find the listed name and number. Apparently Tommie has been running the shop since the 80s. He works on old bugs, bus's, and other VW's as well as other types of car's (both modern and old). more

Friendly and competent 8/21/2005

Tommy and his staff will make you want to come back. They do good work. I have been using Tommy for almost 13 years. He has done everything from a tune up to a head gasket. I have always found him to be reasonable, friendly, and he just plain does good work. He typically repairs cars the same day he gets them and that is also a big plus! more
