My wife and I, residents of Glendale, CA, just last week had System Pavers do a small but much needed job in our front yard, which was to replace a horse-shoe shaped walkway (approx. 290 sq. feet) paved with decomposed granite (DG) with a surface of interlocking bricks. When the DG is dry, it's as hard as, well, granite. But when it gets wet, like during the rainy season, it turns muddy, becomes channeled by water run-off, and is pitted by water dripping off the eaves of the roof. To prevent the pitting, I was having to cover with plastic sheeting.\r

From the date of the visit by the design consultant to their start on the job was only 10 days, and it would've been 5 had there not been a rain dump midweek.
