What a healthy alternative!! Finally, a place where health conscience people can go to get something else other than a burger! This self-serve buffet style restaurant offers a huge salad bar with different toppings, salads and dressings. Also, they offer about 8-10 different soups a day and a variety of pastas, breads, pastries and desserts. Their menu changes daily and special menus are developed every month that features a signature soup, salad and pasta. The price is very inexpensive and the food is always fresh!! ALways lots of choices and always great taste! more

Healthy food 3/10/2006

My girlfriend is a big health food nut so she dragged me here one day for their salad bar. I wasn't too impressed with the salad bar but that is probably because I don't like salad too much anyways. But the rest of the buffet was doable. They had some pizza and soem pastas. Also, there was a bunch of good desserts like brownies and ice cream. Hmm..not so healthy after all! more

Sweet Tomatoes is a great place for lunch or dinner. They have salads, soups and bakery items. You pay one price and its all you can eat. They have about 7 different soups each day, 3 fresh made Pasta's, muffins & fresh bread, desserts and any kind of salads you can think of. They have 3 locations to choose from, Schaumburg, Glenview and St. Charles. Believe me it is worth the drive to either location. The one in Schaumburg is also the street from IKEA, so plan the day at shopping and then do lunch or dinner. Look in Sundays newspaper for coupons, they run them a lot. more
