I went to Tomatoes twice before I realized I could get the same food, plus more, down the road at Golden Corral. Tomatoes has a large salad bar with prepared salads and mixed greens with several toppings. They also have a potato & soup bar and usually some pizza and pasta to choose from. They also have a dessert bar. You could go here if you don't want to be tempted by the fried chicken strips and mashed potatoes offered at Golden Corral, but if you have any self control then GC is actually better since they offer the same salad bar, steamed vegetables and roasted chicken, plus other healthy options. I just can't see paying $8 when you can get a better meal with more options (even healthy) less than 1 mile down the road. I wouldn't recommend this place and would be surprised if it has long-term staying power. *****4/18/07 - Funny how things change - I now *love* Sweet Tomatoes, especially ever since I went vegetarian. They have way more salad toppers than GC and 5-6 soups to choose from, plus pasta and bread and delicious choc-chip cookies and other desserts. It's still similar in price to GC, but if you're just looking for a kickin' salad & soup, try Sweet Tomatoes! And the serviecs is *always* good!!
Pros: Fresh Salads & Soups
Cons: None
