Sweet Tomatoes is not only perfectly located on the main road(South Tamiami Trail.) but has a huge parking area as well. Open all week long for lunch and dinner 10:00 to 9:00 pm. Baby seats and high chairs available. Just remember that you need to get there early(between 5-6pm) to not have to wait although the wait is never more than 20 minutes.
This is a buffet style restaurant that has lines on both sides of the aisle to go up and choose what food you want. You pay after you go up the aisle getting your salad-you get drinks when you pay. No alcoholic beverages served. But they have soft drinks, coffee, hot tea, iced sweet and unsweetned tea.
Salad fixings galore(to name a few-leavy green lettuce, regular head lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, radishes, chopped egg, olives, pepperoni, hot peppers,, green peppers, different type of cheeses cut up, cold beets, and much much moreeeee lol! They also have salads already prepared such as pasta salad, tuna salad and chicken salad. Also have home baked muffins, soups such as chicken noodle, green pea soup, clam chowder and they add new ones everyday.
Entrees include pizza, spaghetti, chicken parm, pasta and more.
If I had to rate this from 1-10-I would definitely rate it a 95.
