I'm calling out ""Not worth my hard earned money\r by fatguywholuvsfood at Citysearch""\r \r You don't have a waiter and no tips are expected. You sound like a disguntled employee or you don't know what you are talking about. The Tilapia with the roasted red pepper sauce is awesome. I don't go out to eat, but if I spend my hard earned money, I always order it. When I complimented the owner of the sauce and wanted to purchase some of it, he gave me a container, free of charge.\r \r more

Not worth my hard earned money 5/19/2010

food is ok serviceis bad and price is even worse. Beware my server was drinking on the job and complaining about how they don't get to keep their tips.\r Food kinda reminded me of a Stoufers frozen meal though the deserts are overpriced they are REALLY good. Pros: clean inside, most food good Cons: rundown building, over priced, poor service more

decent food, outrageous prices 8/12/2009

We've been here a couple of times over the past 2 years and we enjoyed the pizza when it was about $15 for a large. Now its gone up to $17 since the oil price hike and hasn't gone back down. We're told this is because it's a gourmet pizza and its the ""best in Houston"". Well I say the pizza is good, but its not worth $17. Neither the size of their large nor the flavor warrants such a high price. We're not likely to return unless a working website pops up one day and shows us a more reasonably priced menu. more

better than 1st time 7/7/2009

The first time we had dinner there about 1+ yrs ago was a disappointment; the food was less than great. This time had pasta diablo dish, which was supposed to be penne pasta (they didn't have penne, so I chose fettucini). The sauce was delicious, a creamy tomato sauce. Cost was about $7.95, but for the addition of shrimp a $2.50 fee was added. I was OK with that, but for THREE SHRIMP??? A bit off the wall! The clincher was this: My husband and I were expecting two of our little grandkids over, so we decided to order 2 kids meals of spaghetti and meatballs to take home, which were listed for $3.99. My husband ordered and was asked to pay $12 and some change. When he came back to the table and told me that, I said, The meals are only $3.99 apiece -- it doesn't add up. He went back to the counter, and was told that because it was a ""to go"" order, they charge $6.00 apiece!!! This is deceptive advertising, as far as I'm concerned. She should have informed him of this when he placed the order, rather than just slyly take the money and not breathe a word!! This left a sour taste in my mouth and despite the fairly good tasting dish I had, we won't go back again. Let's have some integrity and honesty toward the customer here. Pros: Spacious, clean, bright colors, quiet Cons: Unwritten rules which seemed a bit deceptive more

Delicious meals made from scratch. Small friendly atmosphere with lovely music in the background. Prices are great too. Try the pizza first. Individual servings and you won't be disappointed. more

Like Mom used to make 9/21/2006

I have high standards for Italian, especially since my mother is straight off the boat.... Sweet Bella is just like Mom used to make, and the most critical element to any Italian meal is the sauce, and it is right on top of it!\r \r They have terrific meals, great specials, and great prices. It looks like a little hole in the wall, but the food definately backs it up.\r \r Don't go here though if you want a romantic night out, it just isn't a fine dining type of place, but if you are in it for the good stuff you won't be disappointed! Pros: Great food, Service Cons: Looks like a fast food place inside more
