I am new to the music scene, but am quickly finding Swarthmore Music THE place to go for my children's music needs. You simply walk in the door, say what you need and walk out... Perfect for my busy lifestyle. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will make my family regulars here. I honestly don't know how their prices compare to the larger music stores, but frankly, I don't care! more

Music to my ears 8/22/2005

The Swarthmore Music store has such a warm, comforting feel to it. The dark wood interior and lighting make you feel like you’re inside a nice piece of music. Beautiful instruments line the walls and the staff can tell you anything you need to know about them. I use them every time I need any musically-related item and am always pleased with my experience. more

Music to my ears 8/21/2005

The employees at the Swarthmore Music Store are incredibly helpful and friendly. I once went in there with my guitar and asked them how much it would cost to tune it, and they did it for free. Their prices are reasonable and they have a decent selection. They also offer music lessons with very knowledgable teachers. more
