Susquehanna Still Open 9/1/2010

Susquehanna is located just a step from Wisconsin Avenue on O Street, next door to Georgetown Antiques and Cote Jardin. The building is quite large and filled to the brim with antique paintings and furniture (mostly American and Continental - 17th, 18th & 19th C). Also, don't forget to venture upstairs where there are 3 rooms filled with hundreds of antique frames. You can also visit susquehannaframes.com to see some of their collection. It seems few know about their antique frame collection, which is quite impressive. more

Hurry. Susquehannah Antiques has always been a great place to find an buy treasures for me. Sadly,the store is now closing and relocating to new locale and the sale/bargains are now fantastic! Kathleen MM more

Huge antiques store 8/15/2005

There are tons of antiques stores in Georgetown, but this is probably the biggest. It's absolutely immense and features some of the fanciest home furnishings and paintings. This is definitely not the place to go for bargain hunters, as the pieces are pricey, but if you're furnishing your new million dollar home this may be the place for you. The staff is also very knowledgeable about what they are selling. more
