We go out for sushi at least once a week, and now that we moved to the eastside it has been more challenging to find a great place without crossing the bridge. Thank the sushi gods for Sushiya! Dont be put off by the ex- Jack in the Box location, they have done a nice job remodelling for a contemporary feel. The wait staff is efficient and warm, and will know you by name by your third visit. The menu is filled with lots of classics and new fusion fare, but it is the fresh, fresh quality fish that always has us coming back for more. Chef Sang shows uncomprimising commitment to selecting the best quality ingredients. If you are lucky, they may also have the seared wagyu beef nigiri available! Oh, and did I mention the kick-ass sake list?
Pros: yummy food & sake, excellent service
