Sushi Song - Deerfield Beach

Honestly!!! I don't know what the hell people are talking about giving this place so many stars, yeah if you are trashed off your ass and you need food maybe. $22 lobster roll that was not worth the rice it was made with. I'm happy to spend the money for good sushi but I would not go back to sushi song if you paid. I'm making a cheese burger to finish it off. If you want good sushi go to sushi rock, better atmosphere, better food, much better service and much more worth the price. Save yourself $80 and go to McDonald's, atleast you will leave full..... Enjoy!!! more

Sushi song has by far one of the freshest sushi i have ever had. If you like tuna, the tuna tartar appetizer is a must. I have tried numerous rolls but my favorites are the hamachi jalapeno (if you like hot) and the shrimp tempura roll which i guarantee will be the very best you have ever had. They have a very unique wasabi dressing for the salad which i don't believe will appeal to everyone, but if you like wasabi it is worth trying. It is a nice change from the ginger and miso dressing they serve everywhere else. more

Great sushi. Hipster fancy but taste great.Service however was sub par,his name was ken and he was the definition of PMS, snippy and rude had the personality of a grain of rice but still a dickhead after we told him it was our first visit. Open till two but send Kenny home at eight he was a crank SOB. Great food. Music was blasting for only two people lose night club mode. Angry Asians and great food. Over priced but tasty. PS get take out and enjoy COD-MW3 more

One word: WOW!\r \r I love this place so much! I never had better sushi since I started going to this restaurant. It's open really late night and I happen to stumble upon it randomly on a Monday night at like one in the morning. The staff there is very attentive and so friendly. The place has a very chill, downtempo atmosphere and has a clean modern Japanese look. The restaurant is in the perfect location; it right down the street from the beach.\r Their miso soup, edmame, and shrimp tempura just rocks. It's phemonenally flavorful and fresh. So far I have eaten the classics California and JB roll, and other speciality rolls like Rainbow, Dragon, Hamachi Jalapeno (spicy!), Spicy Tuna, and the Volcano (I only recommend if you love baked salmon, not like but love). Every single roll I have tried has impressed me and continue to thus far.\r When you do visit, make sure you try their cold sake, it's so good and refreshing. Their hot sake is good too, but they got me hooked on the cold version. They do sell Sapporo beer too, so combine that with the cold sake and you made a sake bomb! more
