Ond of the best 7/25/2008

Hey Maggie who thinks she/he knows sushi. As a restaurant owner, I know that all fish comes from the same providers. That means - whether you go to a chain or a local place- we all get it from the same place. I find it hilarious when people act like sushi masters and have no idea what they are talking about. Sushi Samba is one of the best and RA sushi is packed every night of the week. Shows what you know, maybe you should stick with box dinners. more

an unique experience of fushion between Brazilian / Japanese food! 5/28/2008

I've been to Sushi Samba 3 times now...and each time was very enjoyable Pros: unique, tastey food! great ambience, creative fushion food presentation, nice staff Cons: tiny bit pricey, if going early could be a bit empty more

Great Enviroment, Sounds, & Tastes! 5/22/2008

What a GREAT place this is! With other restaurants in New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago, & Tel Aviv, this is the newest addition to the Sushi Samba Family. Sushi Samba is a culture. Once you visit one or all of them you'll begin to see what im talking about. more

Chain Sushi is not Good Sushi 5/19/2008

What a disappointment. We should have known when the place was empty at 7 on a Saturday night. Everytime we ordered some sushi-the waiter kept trying to talk us in to something else! Sushi wasn't fresh. And I don't like my food shaped like ""Stars."" (Hard crusted rice, in the form of a star, with some kind of overly sweet sauce on it.) Both Samba and Ra Sushi in Legacy are terrible and both are chains. Stick to local, small Sushi places (Especially Awaji and Masa in Plano-excellent!) Pros: Convenient when you are at the Galleria Cons: Terrible Sushi more

Best Restaurant in Dallas 11/9/2007

I have lived in Addison for 15 years and in Dallas all of our life and Sushi Samba is the best restaurant I have been to in the last 5 years. Not only was the service fantastic but the food was the most creative I have seen. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The Rio Grand was out of this world. Who knew that they have such great steak? I am an expert on sushi and I have been waiting for some time for a great sushi restaurant to finally open in Dallas. This place serves the best quality and most creative sushi items I have seen. I can?t say enough great things about this place I am glad that we have a place to go. Kudos Sushi Samba. Pros: Steak, Sushi, Service, Atmosphere, Fun!! more

We will definatly be back!!! 8/3/2007

Met up with some of girlfriends after work and we had the best time! The server was helpful without being obtrusive, and made some awesome recomendations for the table. The cocktail menu is incredible, not like most I have seen. The drinks are inspired, and not just re named to suit the theme. We hung out after dinner and felt completely comfortable. Energetic atmosphere, awesome food, awesome drinks, and great conversation. We will definatly be back! Pros: Best sushi and cocktails more

Best Sushi in town 7/30/2007

I went to Sushi Samba the other night for Happy hour the night and it was so great we stayed for dinner. I have been to the one in New York and the food was better in Dallas. They told me about their great brunch on Sundays for $15 per person. I came in for brunch the next week and it was unbelievable! You shouldn't miss out. Pros: There are so many items to choose from- something for everyone! more

Best Friday Nights 7/18/2007

So I went to Sushisamba to figure out what everyone was talking about. So I saw the little crabs and my friend was brave enough to try them, but I just couldn't she said they were great and they tasted like popcorn, I will just believe her. It was Friday night around 8:30, the place was packed but not too much, so we were seated quickly. Immediately when we sat down the waiter greeted us and took our drink order, of course us being huge fans of that 4 girl HBO show, we ordered Nina Fresas. The waiter suggested we order the mix of appetisers so start off and we did. They were so good, we ate all of them! I began to notice, I hadn't even finished my first drink and I was dancing in my seat! I asked the waiter who the DJ was and he said ""his name is Mike D, and that Friday nights were our Samba Rock nights, Mike mixes in rock favorites to the samba style music."" So we ordered our food and kept the rythm going until the end of our meal. The music was so good and flowed perfectly with our beverages. My friend and I had so much fun we can't wait to go back another Friday for SAMBA ROCK! Pros: Great Drinks, Great Music, Great Food Cons: Reservations Highly Recommended more

Best Brunch! 6/29/2007

We went there last Sunday and had a blast. We split the family style brunch ($15 each) and stayed for a couple hours. The French toast is the best I've ever had. They have a non alcoholic specialty drink (forgot the name of it) that was really good too. more
