Located right off of I-25 and Hampden, Sushi Train offers some of the best sushi and Japanese food in the area. With a concept that originated in San Francisco, Sushi Train actually sends a train around with sushi at different prices. Instead of having to order, you pick what you would like to eat considering what your tastes are and what you would like to pay (Sampling if you will). Sushi Train also is well known for their 64 different kinds of Special Rolls including the ""Broncos Roll"" the ""Christmas Roll"" and the popular ""Avalanche Roll"". Sushi Train also has a fabulous atmosphere to go along with the awesome food. Families don't worry because they also have an extensive children's menu as well. So the next time you are looking for great sushi and a fantastic experience that everyone will enjoy, make sure you get into Sushi Train Japanese Restaurant. Pros: Best sushi i haveever had !!! Cons: none! more

One of our regular spots 12/22/2006

While the sushi is not mind-blowing, it is fresh, consistent and tasty and the service is always friendly and attentive. My husband and I visit fairly often when we have a sushi craving but don't feel like waiting an hour for a table, or spending 100 bucks on dinner. Pros: Consistent, good parking Cons: Closed on Sundays more

Nice atmosphere, good sushi 9/18/2006

I tend to go here with my mom for lunches and dinners. Last time we were there, we only ordered a couple of sushi rolls to share, and despite our rather meager tab, the woman there was so nice to us! She even gave us complimentary bowls of miso and offered to provide my mom, a 3rd grade teacher, with enough ""chopstick helpers"" for her whole class.(Chopstick helpers are devices that make eating with chopsticks easier for kids) Our sushi was presented beautifully to us, and it tasted fresh and delicious. We will make it a point to go back more often! Pros: Fresh sushi, great presentation, nice staff more

good food, worst service ever, period 5/21/2006

Love the Sushi Boat 10/31/2005

Food is better than any sushi joint in Colorado. Coming from areas that are much closer to water than Denver, I've never liked any of the sushi joints in Colorado (even Sushi Den YUK!). This is the place to go, it reminds me of the sushi places on the east-coast, just come as you are and enjoy! Pros: Food, Service more

Food 2/15/2003

not a fan of sushi, I went with my husband to sushi boat for his birthday...i tried the freashwater eel...very tasty......ordered some for my self it was so tasty..price was a little overboard, but went into 3 other sushi resturants and this one was by far the best...no rank odor, timely service, and the food was by far the best i have ever had...if it is a bad resturant you can always tell by japanese american's not eating there. we went and there were two families there. Pros: great sushi, timely service, great ambiance Cons: alittle pricey more

Our Visit Was Nice 9/18/2002

We ate here with our toddler and sat at the sushi bar. Dissappointing the sushi boat no longer delivers sushi for some undefined reason. We ordered sushi and really enjoyed it. Fresh, tasty, and not dry like others have noted in other reviews. The decor needs some updating but the staff provides a high level of service. Our toddler also received a bear made from oranges that arrived via the sushi boat. Nice touch. Pros: sushi Cons: sushi boats no cargo more

Bad 8/23/2002

Been here twice...shouldn't have given it the second chance. Atmosphere isn't compelling and the sushi is really bad tasting. The sushi is unsettling in its warm rubbery way. more
