Three years ago I got mugged while stepping out of an elevator in Orange county. Some guy just ripped my purse from my hands and ran off. I barely saw the back of his head and he was gone. It was an awful feeling. I had the SAME feeling in my stomach after stepping out of the Clearwater Casino last week. It was like the same experience. As traumatic as the elevator scenario was I know the odds of it happening again are not so great. I can't say the same about Clearwater. It really was degrading. You walk out realizing you never stood a chance. It was like you were just ran sacked -- As fast as you could put the money in. Not once in the up and down of playing meltdown did I ever come near the 500 dollars I put in. Not once in 2 hours. Ive never experienced anything like it. I've been to tons of places around Washington and the country. This was the crudest. At one point they shut the machines down to re boot. After that it didn't even bother to ever pay anything. Every single spin lost. Every single one LOST and went DOWN? Sometimes a spin would payback what the best was but that was rare. I counted the spins? One hundred and eighty six spins. All lost. I got upset -- The staff could care less. Nothing they can do about it. They shrugged. ""Sorry"" The owners should try this act out east. They'd never get away with it. more

My husband and I have been to just about every casino in Vegas and Atlantic City and Western NY and never have we spent $1600 on slots in 2 days without winning anything. I'm not talking about taking money home but just winning enough to keep you playing for a while. They are so greedy they can't even offer a customer that. We played machines I've played in other casinos that paid so it's not the machines themselves it's the people that program them and they program them in such a way that into only can you not win but it's not fun at all. This was the worse experience we ever had at a casino! The slots were so tight it was horrible! Not only that but they also discriminate against Canadians. It's absolutely ridiculous! Entertainment"" IT'S A RELATIVE TERM. Ask yourself this: Is it entertaining for you to have an ARROGANT RICH PERSON come up from behind you, JAM a gun into your back and while laughing at you say -- ""Give me all of your money? Your money is ours and if you say a word about it we will have you thrown to the pavement. Now stop playing and hand over your money you stupid idiot!"" . . . If THAT'S the general feeling of what you're looking for from a Casino experience then Suqaumish Clearwater Casino IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. . . (The water is not clear by the way, it's RED from your own blood after they GUT you!) IF however you want more of the regular Casino experience where the odds favor the house but nonetheless offer some chance of winning, well then you must go to any other casino then Clearwater. Clearwater is only there for the YANK-PILLAGE-SUCK-JAM-UP-THE-ASS-INSULT YOUR MOTHER and GUT you with a KNIFE! experience. Do you like getting F&^$D until you bleed? Then go to Clearwater - They are the very,very best at screwing people. more

If you enjoy being sucked dry then this is the place! People have told me that when they first opened the owners (PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES) were conscientious about being in good standing with the G.C.B (Gaming Control Board) and the slots were okay but now they've learned how to manipulate the slots EPROM chips to change the payout and it is a nightmare! PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES are so greedy that it's essentially a guarantee that they will take all of your money without any up side. The pay outs are a joke IF they will give them to you. They're adjusting the pay-out percentages in a way that provides them with a profit margin that's higher then imaginable. It's not uncommon for the smaller amateur casinos to take this approach. It's the mind set of an un-skilled, fast take business approach that is real trashy. I've worked as a Hard Count Attendant and a slot technician for years in various casino's and have to say that the owners are bunch of SELF-SERVING greedy AMATEURS that take advantage of their own community, give casinos a bad name and make the Wall-street/Enron guys look like saints. It's unlikely however that the National Indian Gaming Commission will be doing anything about it, nor will the GCB, so if you want to occupy club clear-water stay as clear away from there as possible otherwise they will stick you for everything you got. It's a real backwoods kind of thinking but they don't seem to know any other way unfortunately. more
