I have known Julie, since she worked at a Spa before she started her own business. What impressed me from the very first time I met her, was her professionalism, her in-depth knowledge and her no-nonsense beauty advice. She never tries to sell you products, and she has given me the best advice I ever got about my skin. I have been to very expensive SPAs with too much ""fluff"" for nothing. She always knows what she is doing. Her facials are incredible! My skin has very complicated needs and she always finds the best regimen for me. The environment is warm and welcoming, there is free Parking. Who knew such a gem would exist in Quincy? Very highly recommended, if you are looking for a real experienced aesthetician and a very pleasant and nice person:) more

Two years ago, I walked by a new salon in my neighborhood, with beautiful pink walls, and crystal light fixtures, and on a whim, decided to go inside. Little did I know that it would be one of the best decisions I have ever made.\r \r Julie (the owner) is, without a doubt, the patron saint of facials. I mean it, I am talking about the BEST. FACIAL. EVER., period, point blank, end of sentence. I have gone back once a month, every month, since that fateful Saturday in July 2008, and I don't even live in the area anymore! I look forward to my monthly appointments with the same excitement as a little girl on Christmas morning, who somehow knows that the Barbie Dreamhouse she's been wishing for all year is going to be under the tree. Okay, I am (slightly) exaggerating. But, really, every month I know that I am in for a couple of hours of the kind of bliss that can only result from true pampering, and that I will be relaxed and glowing for the rest of the day. \r \r From the aesthetically pleasing and zen environment, to the warmth exuded by Julie and Dawn (her receptionist/super-mom), the entire experience at Supple Skin is a delight, a treat for all your senses. Easily accessed off of rte 93, Supple Skin has quickly become a family favorite destination I was lucky enough to find. I have frequented the establishment for waxing treatments and given my mom and wife gift certificates there for facials and other services for over two years now. \r \r Walking into the spa your senses are quickly overwhelmed with relaxing smells, sounds and colors. The welcoming staff immediately makes you feel like you’re on a mini vacation. The owner (Julie), an attractive and gregarious young lady, couldn’t be any easier to talk to and puts your mind at easy. Julie’s an experienced esthetician. My wife tells me Julie’s leg and facial treatments are every bit a massage as they are a waxing. Julie’s hands are deceivingly strong and could double as vice grips … to the pleasure of her clients. \r \r Why I like Supple Skin so much is that you (the client) work exclusively with the owner… as there are no other estheticians employed. That means your not paying for some new hire just out of school or some other retread employee just looking to punch the clock…. You’re being serviced by someone who has a vested interest in meeting your every need. You quickly build up a nice friendship with the owner, which make visits so much more enjoyable. In addition, by not having the overhead, this spa is able to under cut the prices of the completion by a wide margin … all while offering a better, more personable service. Supple Skin is an amazing little spa. The owner does all facials and waxes and takes her time with each process. The shop itself is clean, warm and extremely inviting. Julie, the owner, makes you feel special with each facial and waxing she gives. She takes her time and makes sure that you are completely happy. Her prices are much lower than anyplace in the area in/around Boston. Her products are picked with care making sure that they are the top of the line. The receptionist is very accommodating and can easily work around scheduling. Great hours, easy access from North Quincy T stop, parking on the street and parking lot behind the shop. Julie will even stay open later if you need a special time. Highly recommend this little gem right outside of downtown Boston. Pros: Clean, Warm & Inviting, Prices are the BEST!!! more
