front desk staff was friendly 8/4/2011

The pluses here are that the front desk staff was friendly, and you can get a 20% discount off your total bill at the Benningans in front ( including liquor!). Also the room included a microwave and minifridge. more

Very Professional 8/1/2011

Due to a power failure, we were unable to stay at this hotel. The staff was very professional; they cancelled the reservation and helped us find another place to stay more

Met our need 7/13/2011

For the price, this is a good overnight stop when driving through Iowa. It is close to I-80, there are chain restaurants nearby. You can drive less than 10 miles from the hotel and find any standard chain restaurant or store that you find in franchise America. The hotel was clean, although the hall had the institutional smell. The rooms were extra large. Everything worked in our rooms so it met our need. We used a coupon from one of the free travel books at the Iowa welcome stop and paid under $50. for the room. more

Great price 7/13/2011

I'm giving this hotel an above average rating based on the cost. We used one of those coupons you get at rest centres so this was a very inexpensive place to stay. The pool was a nice bonus that we used before we dropped into bed after a long day of driving. The free wifi wouldn't work in the room, but did work by the pool and in the lobby. Breakfast was basic continental, but got us going for the day. This was basic, clean accommodation that was inexpensive and located well for the highway. more

Great place for a fast stay 7/12/2011

This Super 8 blew us away! We were driving through and knew it would be late getting in, early to leave. Just wanted a very clean, comfortable room with a working TV and plumbing. Facility is older but looked and smelled very clean. King size bed, sheets, comforter, pillows, all very comfy. A refrig, microwave, coffee maker; all great! Thrilled with the price. Just did not want to spend $100+ when we just needed a few hours of rest. Great coffee and continental breakfast in the morning and we were off. No time to use the pool! more
